在第四单元中,我们学习了很多表示食品名称的英语词汇,也了解到食品(food)对于我们身体健康(health)的影响和重要性。你想知道当今社会东、西方人的饮食习惯和健康观念吗?那就不要走开,接着往下看吧:
1. 中国人对饮食追求意境,用“色、香、味、形”来把“意境”具体化,讲究口味好、色彩美、造型佳。西方人的饮食观比较理性,不论食物的色、香、味如何,营养一定要有所保证。比如说英国人,他们的早餐通常是麦片粥冲牛奶或一杯果汁,涂上黄油的烤面包片,熏咸肉或煎香肠、鸡蛋。中午,孩子们在学校吃午餐,大人的午餐就在工作地点附近买上一份三明治,加一杯咖啡,打发了事。只有到周末,英国人的饭桌上才会丰盛一些。通常主菜是肉类,如:烤鸡肉、烤牛肉、烤鱼等。蔬菜品种繁多,像卷心菜、新鲜豌豆、土豆、胡萝卜等。蔬菜一般都不再加工,装在盘里,浇上从超市买回的现成调料便食用。主菜之后总有一道易消化的甜食,如烧煮水果、果料布丁、奶酪、冰淇淋等。
2. 不论东方还是西方,越来越多的人们不再多吃那些高热量和高脂肪的食品,如:hamburger, sweet snacks, meat等,而是转向清淡食品和蔬菜、水果等。饮食结构开始注重荤素搭配、营养全面、酸碱平衡,越来越趋向于科学、合理。
3. 健康成为人们最关心和关注的焦点,除了合理的选择自己的饮食外,人们也开始注重运动和各种各样的健身活动。

关于牛津英语七年级Unit7 Reading教学反思
当我接到通知要在11月29日,到美琪中学的七(6)班上一节Unit7 Reading的课时,我心里是很惶恐的,因为毕竟我面对的是陌生的学校和陌生的学生,而且所选的课是学生目前还没开始学的一个单元,有点跳跃,与前面的没有衔接,这样的话,导入和词汇都给我设置了一定的难度。现在,课已上完,有很多值得我反思的地方,现总结如下。
本课是牛津英语七年级Unit7 Reading第一课时,这一课时是跟shopping有关的话题,内容简单,但是要求学生能掌握相关的购物用语,在这一节课的设计上,我把它分为四部分。关于新课的导入,我用了圣诞节即将来临,你会给你的朋友和家人买什么礼物,为什么买这些礼物,既把学生带入买东西的情景中,又练习了句型I want to buy…for…because…,这一环节的设计符合学生的实际,学生表达很好。
第二部分本课时的新单词我设计了一个大家一起与Sandy去购物,看看她买了些什么的情境,在语境中教授了本节课的生词。单词学完后,我设计了两个游戏(which is missing和砸蛋抢答)来巩固所学生词。这样既锻炼了他们说,又处理了书后的练习PartB1。学生的课堂气氛很活跃,效果很好。
第三部分,新课的开始,由课本中Amy买东西的图片开始,很自然地过度到本课的学习,通过先Skimming,(做两道选择题),再听(根据课文填表格和回答问题),然后Scanning,做六道对错练习,最后延伸思考(solve the problem),对Reading进行深入的了解。但在进行Scanning,做六道对错练习这一环节,我本来预计应该会很容易完成,很遗憾由于学生的基础参差不齐,有些学生对我的指令(Read the sentence, and tell us T or F。 If it is false, please correct it。 part B2 at p83)没能明白,在这一环节上比我预计的多花了四分钟左右的时间,当然,我的设计上也有欠缺的地方,没能考虑学生的实际,这只能说明自己的备课不够细心,不够用心。
本课的最后一部分是根据本课所学内容进行自编对话,在编写对话前,课上我先是带着他们整理了一下购物中shopkeeper还有customer可能会用到的句型,有些同学就非常好,不仅仅能说出课本出现的购物用语,而且还能想出自己生活中购物的.用语,比如说:“come again next”, “can the price be cheaper?”等,在这一环节,我为了降低难度,将课文中的出现的shopkeeper还有customer的购物用语写在白纸上,混在一起,然后让两个学生给我分开再贴在指定的位置,这一环节学生的正确率很高,参与的积极性也很高,接着我又补充了课文里没有的购物用语,我觉得这一部分学生接受的不错。接着我让学生自编对话,这一部分本该是这一节课的提升部分,但由于我给学生限制了对话的内容,使得他们有力而使不出来,限制了他们的发挥的空间,结果使对话的内容显得单调而僵硬,而且由于前面的环节多占用了一些时间,所以原计划表演五组的,由于时间关系只表演了两组。
从这次的上课案例可以看出,我们教学中要把主动权留给学生,这样比学生被动的接收要好很多,同时英语阅读教学中的课堂提问也很重要,我们要设计问题诱发学生兴趣,引导学生进行积极的思考。因此,提问设计要有阶梯,层层梯度。对于教学中的一些重难点,我们尽量设计一些铺垫性的问题,依据学生水平,想方设法化难为易,化繁为简,由近及远,一环扣一环,逐步解决大问题。提问设计应有“度”。要考虑到学生的实际,同时提问有一定难度,才能激发学生求知欲,调动学生注意力,刺激学生思维,让学生体会到智力角逐的乐趣,这一点,我今天做的还不够。
