《英英学古诗》是一篇“文包诗”课文，写了英英和奶奶的一段对话，对话中英英生动而自然地介绍了古诗《静夜思》诗句的意思及作者。
《静夜思》这首古诗孩子们在一年级时就已经能背诵了，但“古诗”的诗意及蕴含的道理学生还不明白。因此在教学时，我把重点放在了理解古诗上。
首先，我出示了月圆图，创设了这样的情境：孩子们，你看到了什么？…什么时候的月亮是这样圆圆的、亮亮的？…是的，中秋节、元宵节的月儿就是这样圆这样亮，回忆一下中秋节晚上你们全家是怎么庆祝的？…月圆之夜正是家人团圆的时候，所以，每当这时候，我们相聚在一起玩一玩，乐一乐，多幸福啊！假如，这时，你独自一人，父母都不在身边，看着别人都团圆在一起，而你却孤单一人，无人相伴，你会怎么想呢？……以此引出诗人李白写这首诗的背景，图上的诗人此时正孤独一人望着明月，那思念之情溢于言表，学生都能感同深受。在此基础上再来体会诗人的孤独心境就不难了。
接着我让小朋友读课文，找出课文中关于这首诗意思的句子，并用波浪线划下来，读一读。再诗文对照，理解诗中字词的意思，就简单多了。
这样引导学生看图想像，转换角色，把教材内容中的静态知识转变为学生思维活动中的动态作用对象，在教学过程中才能充分调动起学生的学习热情。
