篇3：全国大学生英语竞赛开始报名

日前，20全国大学生英语竞赛(neccs)开始报名。凡我校非英语专业所有年级在籍本科生均可报名参加。报名截止日期为年3月9日。

此次竞赛分初赛和决赛两个阶段进行。初赛于2007年4月15日(星期日)上午9:00-11:00在全国各地同时举行，决赛于2007年5月13日(星期日)上午9:00-11:00在北京邮电大学举行。初赛和决赛均为全国统一命题，采用书面方式进行，由全国竞赛组委会办公室统一制卷。竞赛的内容主要包括大学英语学习阶段应掌握的英语基础知识和读、听、说、写、译五方面的技能，特别是英语综合运用能力。参加决赛的学生必须从参加初赛的学生中选拔，按初赛成绩确定。

全国大学生英语竞赛(national english contest for college students)是测评全国性大学英语综合应用能力的竞赛，旨在贯彻落实教育部关于大学英语教学改革精神，促进大学生英语水平的全面提高，激发学生学习英语的兴趣，鼓励英语学习成绩优秀的大学生。

据悉，我校外语学院和教务处将于3月下旬组织报名同学进行赛前辅导，其间进行一次竞赛模拟考试和试题讲解，具体事宜请参见教务处网站相关通知。
