英文简历客户化

简历版面必须有条理

简历的版面必须有条理、一目了然。因为HR喜欢的简历结构清晰、一眼就能找到相应的信息在哪里。而在描述个人信息时,必须像议论文一样用数字与事实来说话。尤其是“自我介绍”这个环节,通过实例来说明自己的优点,而不是一味只说“有责任感、组织能力强”这种空泛的表术。

为了吸引HR的眼球,求职者还必须在简历中“秀”出自己与众不同的亮点,即使它与应聘的职位没有直接联系,但这往往能体现出求职者的“可转移能力”。

简历制作必须有针对性

在制作简历时,求职者还必须对简历进行“客户化”,也就是说简历必须有针对性,针对每一个公司和职位制作不同的简历。在简历中重点列举与所申请公司及职位相关的信息,弱化甚至删除对方可能并不重视的内容。尤其是把符合招聘启事中明确列出的职位具体要求的信息点放在一个黄金位置(一般在A4纸的上1/3处)。在编排信息点时,要进行逻辑分类,从而体现出求职者的逻辑性思维能力。最后,简历的语言表达必须做到简练,一页为好。在完成简历之后,一定要找至少五个人让他们圈出不明白的信息和感兴趣的信息,对简历再次润色,逐步完善自己的`简历。

不要以附件形式发电邮简历

当简历完成后,下一步就是投简历。那么,如何才能把简历顺利提交到HR的面前呢?这个小小的细节在求职过程中也充满了学问。写电子邮件简历时,一般情况建议使用中文,即使很多外企使用英文作为招聘语言,但是阅读求职电子邮件的都是中国人,使用汉语更加方便。但是,如果你申请的是一些相对高级的职位,对方的招聘启事完全是英文的,则尽量使用英文写电子邮件。发送简历时,最好直接将简历粘贴在正文中(粘贴后要重新排版),不要以附件的形式发送(除非公司要求)。

电子邮件中的“subject”千万不能空白,必须写上自己的姓名以及应聘职位。同时还要写下有针对性的附言,说明你符合HR最基本的几点要求。在结尾时,可以适当写上祝“工作愉快”、“心想事成”等祝福话语。另外,还要注意的是,招聘启事上通常都要求“学历证、学位证、身份证复印件、小一寸相片”,原则上只需发电子邮件简历和照片即可,并在简历上注明“为防止您下载过慢,本人将在面试时携带‘三证’以供查验,谢谢!”HR会更喜欢这种做法。此外,除了电子邮件简历外,假如求职者对某职位非常感兴趣,就可以选择邮寄甚至亲递简历,成功率可能会更高。因为设计精美的打印简历更容易给HR留下好印象,而且减少信件遗失的可能性。
