Every night I pass by my neighbor's window, I can see the bright light through it. The light looks especially bright coming from the deep dark night.
One night at about eleven o'clock, it happened that I had something urgent to tell my neighbor. So I went to their house. When I entered the room, I saw a thin girl absorbed in studying. I was informed that she was very industrious but failed in the CollegeEntrance Examination last year. Even so, she never gave up and was encouraged to go on studying hard and try again. Every day she would study hard in the light until late into the night. Therefore, the bright light was not only a companion to her but also a proof of her diligence.
A few days later, I met her again. She told me that even if she couldn't pass the College Entrance Examination, she would never give up studying. When she said this, I saw the bright light and began to understand the saying “Where there is a will, there is a way.”

第一课时
教学过程
一、检查预习
1、这篇课文的作者是谁?(王愿坚,当代著名作家。1945年参加八路军。在抗日战争和解放战争中,当过随军记者创作了许多革命历史题材的小说。被列入100部爱国主义教育影片的《闪闪的红星》,他是剧本的编者之一。)
2、用生字卡片检查生字的读音。
3、指名按自然段朗读课文,读后评议,纠正读音。
二、理清课文叙述顺序
1、课文哪些地方是写现在,哪些地方是写往事的?(全文一头一尾是写现在,中间大部分是写往事。)
2、怎样把课文分成三?
3、指名分段朗读课文。
三、理清第二段的叙述顺序
(1)提出自学要求:认真阅读第二段,想一想,这段讲了一件什么事,是按照怎样的顺序讲的:按照事情发展的顺序,把这一段分成三层。
(2)学生按要求自学。
(3)讨论怎样把这一段分成三层。
(4)请三名同学分三层朗读课文。
四、深入理解第二段内容。
1、指导理解第一层。
(1)指名朗读率一层。
(2)通过杳字典理解下列词语:挺进、豫皖苏、围歼战。
(3)指名用自己的话说说这一层的内容。(在围歼战开始前,“我”在交通沟里找到了突击连,来到了郝副营长身边。这是一位年轻的战斗英雄,他在激战之前心情是那样的平静,竟然借火柴的亮光在看一本破书中的插图,看得那样入神,火柴划了一根又一根。他从插图中一个孩子在电灯下聚精会神地读书和情景,想到了未来,深情地说:“赶明儿胜利了,咱们也能用上电灯,让孩子们都在那样亮的灯光底下看书,该多好啊!”)
(4)激战马上就要开始了,他完全陷入了对未来的憧憬里。他在想什么呢?(革命胜利以后,劳动人民将有可能为建设祖国,为创造自己的幸福生活而辛勤工作,而不再为地主资本家卖命,他们的子女将有可能在舒适的环境中读书学习,而不再像父辈那样被剥夺了上学的'权力......从这里我们可以看到郝副营长高尚丰富的内心世界。)
(5)在理解的基础上,指名学生把这一层再朗读一遍。
2、指导理解第二、三层。
(1)指名朗读。
(2)指导理解下列词语:后续部队、千钧一发、整编师。
(3)指名用自己的话说说这两层的内容。(突击连冲进守敌围墙后,后续部队在黑暗中找不到突破口,和突击队失去了联系。这样,突击队孤军深入,得不到增援,围歼战有可能失败,情况非常危急。人们望着黑 的围 ,万分焦急。就在这紧要关头,郝副营长点燃了那本书,高高举起,为后续部队照亮了前进的道路。他自己则因为被火光所暴露,英勇地牺牲了。人们怀着崇敬和悲痛的心情埋藏了他的遗体。)
(4)课文中说“为了让孩子们能够在电灯底下学习,他自己却没有来得及见一见电灯”。对这句话有什么体会?(表现了先烈为了人民的幸福不惜牺牲自己的无私奉献精神。)
(5)在理解的基础上,指名学生把“战斗打响后”和“战斗胜利后”这两层再朗读一遍。

一、复习导入
1、指名朗读上一堂课学的课文。
2、作者是怎样想起这段往事的?我们来学习第一段。
二、学习课文第一段
1、指名读第一段。
2、指导理解下列词语:漫步、清明节、(漫步是没有目的的悠闲地走。清明节是节气之一,在四月四、五或六日,民间习惯在这天扫墓。这个时候很容易想起革命先烈。)
3、引起我回忆往事的原因是什么?(背后传来一声赞叹:“多好啊!”勾起对往事的回忆。这三个字是连接现实和往事的一根链条,因为英勇牺牲的郝副营长也说过:“多好啊!”)
4、在理解的基础上,指名学生再朗读课文的这一部分。
三、学习结尾部分
1、学生通过查字典,弄清“璀璨”“华灯”的意思。
2、“我”怎么会想起郝副营长这位亲爱的战友?(一是见到天安门前璀璨的华灯,因为郝副营长生前也曾经憧憬过这美丽的灯光;二是听见游人发出的“多好啊”的赞叹,因为郝副营长生前也曾经这样赞叹过。)
3、教师小结:这个结尾部分和开头都写的是现在,相互照应。“我”在天安门广场璀璨的华灯下回忆往事,包含着不忘不过去,应该把先烈的精神发扬光大的意思。

3、讨论交流。(缩写这一段,必须写清楚五点:一是时间是非曲直947年初秋;二是那一次战斗的任务;三是战斗前郝副营长怎么做、怎么想;四是战斗中郝副营长的表现;五是郝副营长的牺牲。)
三、学生做缩写练习,教师检查了解缩写情况。
四、请两三个学生读自己写的内容,师生酌情评议。
五、布置作业:预习下一课《月光曲》。
