设计意图:
《纲要》指出:教育内容的选择既要贴近幼儿的生活,又要有助于开拓幼儿的经验和视野。我所选的内容《Food》是幼儿园中班英语教材中的一个单元主题。此活动选材来源于生活,又能服务于幼儿的生活。《Food》活动中所涉及的英语单词都是日常生活中孩子们经常看到、接触得到的,因为孩子的生活离不开食物。而且这些内容在孩子们经验范围之内,能够引起他们的.兴趣,同时孩子们生活中也会有很多机会练习。根据中班孩子的年龄特点,考虑到本班幼儿的英语发展水平,我设计了这一教学活动。
活动目标:
1、学习与食物有关的单词:egg(鸡蛋) 、milk(牛奶)、bread(面包)。
2、通过看、听、说等方式,让幼儿初步掌握单词的发音方法,鼓励幼儿积极、大胆地朗读单词。
3、激发幼儿学习英语的兴趣,体验活动快乐。

教学过程:
一、准备部分。
1.组织幼儿坐好,并进行师幼问好。

2.热身运动: 《Finger play》
二、基本部分。
1.谈话导入课题。
(1)师问:小朋友们想不想快快长大?要怎样才能长大呢?不吃东西能长大吗?
(2)教师小结:小朋友们回答得很对。食品,是人类不可缺少的东西。古人说“民以食为天”,说明食品和人类息息相关,人类无法离开食品。如果没有了食品,人类将会无法生存。今天我就让小朋友来认识一些常见的食物。
2.播放课件学习单词。
(1)先让幼儿通过看课件说出都有哪些食物(用汉语说出)。
(2)引导幼儿初步学习食物的英文名称。要求幼儿注意单词的发音方法
(3)鼓励幼儿积极、大胆朗读单词
3.单词巩固。
(1)播放ppt让幼儿跟着课件朗读单词。

教学设计说明:
本节课的内容来自PEP第一册第五单元的第二课时,主要学习六个单词chicken/hamburger/hot dog/ bread/cake/French fries及句型What do you like? I like… 在备课的时候,通过分析了学生的实际情况,我对教材进行了处理,将Let’s do 的内容进行了取舍,如Make the cake/Pass me the French fries 学生较难理解,这两个TPR动作就被删除了。在日常教学中,创造性的使用教材对于教师来说也是很有必要的。教师应该不受教材的限制,要让教材为我所用,要根据学生的实际情况确定教学内容。
小学英语课程教学基本要求指出:根据小学生学习的特点,小学英语教学要创建活动课为主的教学模式,教师要充分利用教学资源,采用听、做、说、唱、玩、演的方式,鼓励学生积极参与,大胆表达。我在备课过程中充分考虑到了这一理念,设计了一系列的活动巩固所学的内容。在热身环节我运用TPR教学,让学生在听听做做的活动中复习以前学过的内容,激发学生的学习热情。在单词教学中,为了创设较为真实的情境,并且吸引学生的注意力,让学生在一开始就对本节课的学习感兴趣,我首先出示了一部分食物。然后在教学的过程中,我采用单词教学和TPR及游戏结合的.方法,从而加深学生对这些词的印象,让学生在说说做做、玩玩乐乐中学习语言。bread, French fries, hamburger是单词教学的难点,为了突破这一难点,我设计了一个找单词图片的游戏,我的学生是非常喜欢这个游戏的,在平时教学中遇到较难掌握的单词时通常都要玩这个游戏,可以说这个游戏既能帮我们突破难点,又可以培养学生的兴趣。由于农村孩子比较腼腆,羞于开口表达,我运用多种手段激发他们的表达欲望,如食物奖励,语言激励,等等,学生由刚开始的不想说到后来的争着抢着说,在语言表达方面,他们已经迈出了可喜的第一步。我想在以后的学习中,要是教师难善于保护他们的积极性,多为他们创造表现的机会,他们的进步会更快。

This case howeveris only the latest food safety problem.
In the near past KFC food was found to be tainted by Sudan red a dangerous chemical that could cause cancers.
Food contamination will result in not only direct health problems but also other indirect consequences.
On the one hand when a product is discovered to be contaminated people will have lingering fears on a large scale. On the other hand take Sanlu scandal for instance when the scandal was brought into the daylightthe company only reaped its bankruptcy which can affect social stability due to unemployment brought by it.

Why do people eat junk food when they feel unloved People eat junk food for various reasons. Some people eat junk food because other people eat it. And others do so because they are tempted by TV commercials. Some people even eat junk food when they become hateful of someone.
One of the widely accepted explantion to this is that people tend to eat junk food when they are stressed. The study evaluated the effect that commercials for French fries and apple slices -- yes, the apple commercial must have been pretty lame -- had on young children's food choices. Among those shown the commercial for fries, 71 percent chose a coupon for fries afterward. Additionally, some 46 percent of the kids who were shown a commercial for apple slices still chose the fries coupon.
Parents' scolding seemed to have some effect, but not as much as you might think. About 55 percent of kids who were shown the fries commercial and then urged not to eat junk food by their parents still chose fries.
Is the takeaway from this study that our children are doomed to lives of Super-sized ill health? Who knows, but maybe it's time for San Francisco's Board of Supervisors to start thinking about a ban on fast-food commercials.

本节课是本单元的第一课时,也是本单元的重点。本单元的其他课时都是围绕本课时的食物词汇展开的chant, exercises, story a拓展,只有牢固的掌握了本课的食物词汇,才有可能开展其他的学习形式。这些词汇都是和学生生活密切相关,都比较简单,易于上口,学生乐学,积极性非常高。由于学生经常会吃到这些食物,潜移默化中想起这些单词,在真实的情景中会运用这些单词,这体现了新课程标准所倡导的发展学生语言运用能力的目的。
二.说目标
1. 教学目标:新课程强调知识与技能、过程与方法、情感态度价值观三个角度的有机结合,本着这样的认识和教材的特点,我对本课设计了如下教学目标:
〔情感目标〕:培养学习积极参与交流的意识,树立学好英语的自信心。
〔知识目标〕:能听,说,认读和写单词popcorn/ chicken/ apples/ ice cream/ bananas/ fish/hamburger/ orange juice/ milk; pizza/ spaghetti/ cheese/ hot chocolate/ cola;能运用句型:(Maria) likes…进行口语交际。
〔能力目标〕:学生能用英语进行生活交际,了解同学的喜好,体会合作的重要性,培养学生的记忆能力和快速反应能力。
2. 教学重难点:
本课的重点是让学生能够听,说,读,写关于食物的词汇,训练学生记忆单词的能力和句型:(Maria)likes.的运用; 本课的难点是词汇:spaghetti/cheese/hot chocolate和句型(Maria)likes.
三.说教法
1.教法设计
教法的选择是课堂教学成败的`关键。词汇课重在情景中教学和培养学生的口语表达能力。因此充分利用直观教具和电化教学手段创设情景,培养学生直接用英语理解、表达和思维的能力,
在具体教学过程中贯彻交际教学原则,采用三围教学模式,组织各种课堂活动,如表演、猜词等活动,培养和强化学生的语言实践能力和自主学习能力。
为了充分调动学生的学习积极性,体现学生的主体性,做到“以学生为本”,使他们变被动接受为主动愉快地学习,在教学中我以课文图片为主,以教学卡片为辅,让学生通过观察,认读卡片上的单词,并在此基础上学习食物,掌握教学内容。
2.学法指导
教师在课堂上要重视学法指导。本课第一部分是词汇学习,第二部分是记忆练习,因此我采用强化记忆、比较归纳、分析概括规律、首字母记忆法、分类记忆、发现学习、心口一致等等,主要培养学生的观察力、记忆力、注意力、创造力、思维能力、反应能力、自学能力等。把学习方法传授给了学生,从而提高学生的整体学习水平,并在此基础上和同学进行合作交流,让学生自己去体验教学,使他们不仅理解和掌握本节课的内容,而且通过这种寓教于乐的教学方法,激发学生学习英语的兴趣,使他们感受到学习英语是件非常快乐的事情。
3.教学手段
根据本节课的内容特点,适于采用实卡片和多媒体教学相结合的手段。通过多媒体教学,创设情景,有利于激发学生的学习热情,活跃课堂气氛,提高教学效益。
四.说过程
1. 导入设计
导入部分,我采用了直接导入法。
2.新课呈现
(1) 旧词巩固:本课虽然有14个食物词汇,但有9个词汇: popcorn/chicken/apples/ ice cream/bananas/fish/hamburger/Orange juice/milk学生基本上已了解,因此这个环节我主要采用让“学生为主导”的教学模式,来认识词汇,教师主要起到组织作用,并强调个别词发音的,单词的演绎:如orange juice的拓展和apples复数的强调等,以及句型的渗透。但又发现学生们对chicken不熟悉所以把chicken也做为新单词来教学。
(2)新词教授:pizza/spaghetti/cheese/hot chocolate/cola/chicken
(3)记忆练习:此环节我注重培养学生的记忆能力,学生不仅要记忆词汇,还要掌握如何记忆的方法,间接的培养他们的观察能力,归纳能力,注意力等各种学习能力。由于学生的年龄小,因此教师归纳了几种方法帮助学生学习。

五.说评价
本节课主要采用直观教学法以突出重点、突破难点,使教学内容形象直观、易于学生接受。让学生通过自己的感受、体验、实践、参与、运用,完成教学任务,感受成功学习的乐趣,形成积极的学习态度。

The food we eat seems to have profound effects on our health. Although science has made enormous steps in making food more fit to eat, it has, at the same time, made many foods unfit to eat. Some research has shown that perhaps eighty percent of all human illnesses are related to diet and forty percent of cancer is related to the diet as well, especially cancer of the colon. Different cultures are more prone to contract certain illnesses because of the food that is characteristic in these cultures.
