A fourth-year student grounded solidly in the basics of computer science, I am writing in pursuit of graduate studies that I hope can help me acquire cutting-edge expertise in software programming in general and parallel processing in particular.
Intrigued by the power of the computer since high school, I have been trying to stay on top of the computer science by concentrating my undergraduate studies on those subjects that underpin the discipline, particularly mathematics and electronics. To build up my solid knowledge in these subjects, I have taken virtually all the related courses that the university has had to offer. These courses include Algorithm & Data Structure, Mathematical Modeling, Network Theory, Digital Circuit, Discrete Mathematics, and Electric Circuit. With a sophisticated understanding in these areas, I have been well positioned to appreciate the basic theories of computer science and their applications to software development.
Aided by the firm command of the basics, I have found it not only easy but also exciting to study the various subjects covered by my major. As most of my classmates, I took a variety of courses ranging from AI to Computer Network, from AI Programming to Knowledge Engineering, from Pattern Recognition to Software Engineering, and from Database Design to Programming Language Design. Of all the areas of computer science, parallel processing fascinates me the most. The term first came to me when I read the book Computer Organization & Design: the Hardware/Software Interface as part of my Computer Architecture course. By teaching me how the performance of computers can be improved through pipelining and parallel processing, the book reshaped my thinking in computer science.
My lab experience deepened my understanding of parallel processing. In my third year, I worked on a GIFT project with Dr. Komatsu, chief researcher of IBM Tokyo Research Laboratory and Dr. Koseki, one of Dr. Komatsu's colleagues. The project was to introduce the architecture supports that can allow compilers to derive more parallelism from programs. These architecture supports include three designs, a conditional execution mechanism to execute instructions without normal conditional jump instructions, speculative execution mechanism, and a dynamic memory disambiguation mechanism to execute memory access instructions simultaneously.
As undergraduate students seldom get to be involved in actual research, I took full advantage of the opportunity of working in the lab. I particularly enjoyed the seminars held twice a week as part of the lab work. At these seminars, I engaged in in-depth discussions with Master's students under Dr. Komatsu's seasoned guidance. The lab experience is adding weight and insights to my graduation paper An Improvement of Software pipelining using Loop Transformations. In this paper, I will introduce a translation algorithm using loop interchange and loop skewing. This algorithm can minimize the initiation interval of loop nest to improve the performance of software pipelining.
Through my lab experience and other research, I have developed a long-term professional objective: the advancement of the parallel processing technology. While I have strong faith in this technology, I also know its limitations as it is today. Some sequential algorithms can't be easily translated into fast parallel algorithms and most compilers can only distribute works on one platform. Another unsettled problem is that programming parallel computers is now still a manual work. But even the modern language (like Java, C++) can do some automatic translation work. If a compiler can be developed to translate and distribute work into different platforms, personal computers will be able to work like mainframe computers at a fraction of the mainframes' costs. This will make it possible to connect all the computers in the world and speed up all the processes.
To help take the parallel processing technology beyond what is capable of today, I have to undertake more advanced studies. This, I believe, can only be accomplished in a quality graduate program like yours. I plan to pursue a master's degree with a concentration on paralleling and distributing compilers, operating systems or computer networks, a combination thereof. With the training that goes into such an advanced degree, I think I will be able to take great strides towards fulfilling my professional objective. 法国留学住宿类型解读
一、大学生公寓

三、私人住宅

三、语言

三、看是不是符合自己的兴趣爱好
这是最重要的一点，所以要放在最后来看，因为前面的都是一些基本的点，但是只看自己的兴趣而不顾那些基本的点也是不可以的，所以在看完基本的点之后再看看哪个专业是最让自己喜欢的专业。也不是不管自己是不是喜欢，而是看什么发展好就学什么，就算是这样的选了，到后面也是会有很多不合心意的事情的，所以在选的时候这三个是最基本也是最重要的。

一、提前告知
该国的学校是很少有宿舍的，所以去到那边学习基本都是自己租房子住，而这其中选的最多的一种方式就是住在当地人的家庭里，所以在这方面的生活其实有很多要注意的地方。就如如若是放学了，有一些事情或是活动牵绊住了回家吃饭的脚步，那么就要提前告诉或是在不能去的时候告诉他们，这样他们就不会等你吃饭，然后你没有任何消息也不回去，他们就会觉得可能会出什么事情了，因为在该国这样是最基本的常识，所以他们可能会在你没有任何消息的情况下和学校或是警察联系。
二、不能养宠物
如果是自己单独住的话，那就是很自由的，不管做什么事情都是自己喜欢就能做，但若是申到了少部分学校的宿舍，或是住在当地人的家里，就不能这样，有很多的事情都是收到限制的。如很喜欢宠物的人就不能养宠物，因为这些场合其实就是公共场所，所以在做一些事情的时候还是要站在别人的角度想想，因为养宠物其实是很麻烦的，有时候也会把房间弄得很脏很乱，而且可能会影响到别人的生活。

Literature unites everything that I find exhilarating about life, and most of my spare time is taken up with reading. To me, literature and the written word is mankind's greatest achievement, which is why I am determined to dedicate my life to its study. I am not content with simply reading a text, as I have a hunger to learn everything I can about what I read - how it was written; why it was written; what it means; its place in literature as a whole.
I read a catholic range of literature. I particularly enjoy Romantic poetry, as I find it to be an intriguing example of how literature can be used to make a stand against society's established codes, as poets rebelled against previous literary traditions and, contrary to the doctrines of neo-classical literature, focused on emotions and on the individual. Another example of such a rebellion, and another area of fascination to me, is the dystopian novel of the twentieth century. My favourite examples include Orwell's '1984' and 'Animal Farm', Golding's 'Lord of the Flies' , Bradbury's 'Fahrenheit 451' and Huxley's 'Brave New World'. Many of these great works were inspired by, and reacted against, the rise of political extremists during the first half of the century. These works are also often highly satirical, a style which I admire and which has lead me to read works such as Pope's 'The Rape of the Lock', Heller's 'Catch-22' and Ben Elton's cynically satirical plays. I also appreciate the novels of Jane Austen, especially the witty Gothic satire 'Northanger Abbey'.
I see literature as both a cause and an effect of history, and so I study history in order to fully appreciate the context of a piece of writing. I find it fascinating how one's knowledge of a historical period can alter one's interpretation of a text. Also, I believe that the study of art can contribute to one's understanding of literary background, for example in the way that Blake's paintings can give an insight into his mind, and thus his poetry. I find that my study of maths is useful as it contributes to my logical and analytical skills, which are vital for the critical appraisal of literature.
At the end of year 12 I attended a ten-day residential course at Eton College to study English literature. The course was designed to be of the same intensity, and of a similar level, to university studies. These were ten of the best days of my life, and made me realise that an English course at university would be perfect for me, and that I would be perfect for it. This course also allowed me to refine my interests in the subject, and to look in detail at areas hitherto untouched-upon in my state school education.
I have completed a work experience placement at a local architects' office, which I feel taught me many life-skills. Seeing the enthusiasm of the people I worked with showed me that it is important to pursue a career in a subject you love. Therefore, although I do not have a definite idea of where I wish to work in the future, I would like to find employment in an area directly related to English, such as in publishing or journalism.
I take part in extra-curricular activities that I feel aid me in my English studies. Being a member of a debating society has increased my discussion abilities, and has taught me how to argue my point while retaining an open mind and being aware of the opinions and interpretations of others. I am a volunteer for a group that helps less-able children to read, as I feel that the ability to appreciate the written word is the most fundamental life-skill that a child can have. As a member of the third generation after founding of the People’s Republic of China, I grew up as a witness of the rapid economic development of China as a result of its reform and opening up policy. I consider myself more fortunate than people of my previous generations because today China is experiencing dynamic development and facing unprecedented opportunities and challenges brought by its accession into the WTO and deepening economic globalization.
I was aware of the importance to study economics and management in a diversified cultural environment early in my undergraduate study in business administration. After I started working, I felt more deeply in the urban planning and construction projects I undertook that the rapid development of public transportation boosted material expansion and accelerated the inherent instability in urban life. Endless segmentation has been seen in an extensive range in rapidly emerging residential areas and community construction. This is no doubt the result of the serious lack of scientific planning in urban expansion in China.
As a young man of the largest developing country in the world, I’m more oriented to observation and reflections everyday. 芬兰硕士留学申请条件与材料
一、芬兰留学硕士条件
学历要求
还未毕业的学生，可以边读书边提交申请，等到拿到了毕业的证明之后再提交正式的申请，或者直接进行预科的申请，这样要满足的要求会相对宽松一些，不过需要在芬兰先进行一年的过渡学习。

成绩要求

三、芬兰硕士学位分类
1.Degree Student
在芬兰硕士留学中，这是比较正常普通的硕士生身份。需要学生通过入学考试后，从新生开始进入为期五年的硕士课程。和芬兰当地的学生待遇相同。申请这个课程的学生，需要大四在读或者已经获得学士学位。在正式考取后，可以将学位转换为学分，而不用从大一读起。
2.Guest Student/Free Move
这类研究生课程不需要进行入学考试，并且有些课程需要交纳一定费用。入读时间为一年，在这一年中学生可以在学校选择课程学生，但是结束后不能获得学位，类似于旁听生。
3.IMP Student
这是属于国际硕士项目的学生，也不用参加入学考试。这种课程的第一年都是GuestStudent，免费上课。当第一年成绩和学分达到Degree Student的要求后，可以进入普通的硕士课程学习。毕业时能够获得和Degree Student一样的学位。
4、EXCHANGE STUDENT

一、便宜三餐

The media's the most powerful entity on earth. An interesting quote from Malcolm X, who also claimed, Without education, you're not going anywhere in this world. I wish to combine these two passions and follow my ambition to become a journalist by continuing my studies into Higher Education. It is well known that power attracts and I, like many others, have become enchanted by the power of the written and spoken word. This fascination has created a deep interest in writing, and Journalism provides the perfect outlet to develop my skills.
Ive heard enough about the media industry to realise that experience is everything, and as Sixth Form Reporter on the College committee, I gain regular experience of journalistic writing and meeting deadlines. I have written for the official college Network, which is sent home to parents, and the Student Newspaper.
When selecting my A Level subjects, I seemed drawn to essay based courses. I enjoy writing and the courses undoubtedly helped my writing skills. However, I was required to make the opening of a film in Media, which was an experience to say the least! It increased my interest in Broadcast Journalism. Until that moment, I only had eyes for Print. Creative writing has always been one of my favourite aspects of English, and the coursework gave me the chance to write in whichever style I chose, one piece was a newspaper feature on Chelsea Football Club. I have always been interested in Sports Writing and Im considering specialising in it at a later date. I have chosen to continue four of my five AS Levels onto A2, even though it was not necessary. I have always found Psychology quite challenging as it involves deep levels of critical analysis, so I decided to carry on as I find it extremely intriguing. The different theories as to why humans do the things they do, attract me because I am interested in how people act, though one could hardly call me an anthropologist! My main priorities are English, Media and Sociology as I feel they will aid me most in my ambition, although I still find Psychology a fascinating subject.
I have often said that nothing is impossible, yet asking me to name my favourite book is asking too much. Some much-loved literature includes The Hobbit, Gone With The Wind, and Jane Eyre. In my opinion a good novel should evoke a variety of emotions from beginning to end. Music may not be my first love, but it is definitely one of my passions; I have high passes in grade 3 flute, singing, and grade 5 piano. Like my literary tastes, my choice of music is eclectic; I like anything from hip-hop to classical, soul to rock, and past to present. I also love Black history, musicals, and icons of film and music, such as Audrey Hepburn, John Lennon, and Sinatra. Lennon once said, We all want to change the world, I empathise with this view and seek to achieve it using my chosen profession and the power of the media.

韩国本科留学费用
1、韩国大学学费
对于留学生来说，学费是最大的开支，韩国的私立大学(韩国教育以私立为主)学费要高于国立大学。当然根据申请学校不同，专业不同，学费也会有很大差异，韩国的专业一般来说分人文专业、工科专业、艺体类专业，学费也是依次递增。

2、生活花销
住宿费
在校外租房的费用，也是根据房间类型的不同，费用也会有较大差异，每月大概是需要1500-3000人民币左右。
学校宿舍的费用，根据学校、房间人数，费用也是不同的，每月的费用大概是在1000到2000人民币不等。
餐饮费
韩国的大学都配有学生食堂，每餐的费用是在15到30人民币左右。如果校外就餐，每餐需要40元人民币左右。如果是校外住宿的话，同学们可以自己做饭，餐饮花费会降低很多。
交通费用
首尔地铁：成人单程票大概1400韩元(人民币8元)
出租车：3000韩元(人民币17元)
大巴：12000~30000韩元(人民币66~160)
根据地域不同，生活费也会有较大的出入，一般来说非首尔地区一年的生活开销在 3-4 万人民币，首尔地区则要 4-5 万人民币。
