最近听说小叔出国交流学习去了，看到小叔这么厉害，甚是兴奋。小叔是某所大学的教授，这次出国，小叔和小姨连同上小学二年级的孩子一起去了。小叔是四婆的小儿子，尽管只比我大一岁，但我不论在哪里碰见小叔，我都会叫声大大(爸爸的另一种称呼)的。
记得在小学，每到暑假，我们几个小伙伴吃过午饭，便一起相伴去地里拔草，小叔家里养的是羊，我们其余伙伴家养的是猪，我们一人手里垮了个竹笼，为猪拔草，拿回家给猪吃，而小叔有时牵着羊，就拔的草少一点，他的笼里总放着一本书，天热的时候，我们在大树的阴凉下玩扑克，而小叔则看会儿书，到我们快玩结束的时候，小叔也参与进来。记得那时候的草很旺，没有人去打除草剂，羊儿放心地吃个够，而我们也在西边的太阳快要落山的时候开始拔草，待到笼里的草还没装满时，天已经慢慢变暗，我们几个小伙伴相跟着往回走，最前面的羊儿吃饱了，呡呡的叫着，很满足的样子。
小叔比我大一岁，上学时比我高一个年级。上初中时，我和小叔还有另外一个伙伴一起去学校，每次我们走到村庄的边缘时，总会遇到一位老人，老人估计是英语教师，见到我们仨，笑着说句问候类的英语句子，我和另一个伙伴笑着不语，小叔上前用英语回答，老人接着会说我们正在学习的英语句子，而小叔对答如流，老人满意的笑了。
我中考那年，小叔在市上上高一，临近中考的一天，小叔来到我家，问我有什么不会的题吗?我拿着物理题，小叔看到我不会的题，一个一个地给我讲解，那段时间天气闷热，小土屋里蚊子嗡嗡地飞来飞去，小叔不时用手拍打着身上的蚊子，每讲完一题，小叔便问我，会了吗?似懂非懂的我笑着说会了，其实并没懂，只是不想让蚊子继续叮咬我们，看着走时小叔脸上的汗水和额头被蚊子叮咬的小红包，有点不忍了。
小叔高考那年，没发挥好，考的学校一般，他进入大学学习，那年，我出来打工。他还叮咛我没事多看看书。四年很快过去，小叔本科毕业了，毕业了的小叔准备在西安找份工作，他骑着自行车在西安的大街小巷穿过，去各个招聘的地方看过，结果工作和待遇不太理想，小叔开始下定决心要考研了，要做一名985大学的硕士研究生。小叔考研前学习时住的宿舍离我住的宿舍不远，晚上，我睡了一觉，起来上厕所发现小叔宿舍的灯还亮着，有志者事竟成。小叔读完硕士读博士，博士毕业后的小叔很快找到了理想的工作。
四爷几年前因病去世，四婆一个人在家生活，三个儿女不放心，多次催促四婆进城，四婆同意天冷的时候进城和儿女们在一起住。一次我回家休几天假，在家没事做，我便去苹果园干活，看着园里的活不太多了，就索性干完活再回去，看着太阳快要落山了，肚子有点饿，就往回走，推开门，小叔在院子坐着，父亲在一旁和小叔说着话，我上前和小叔打招呼，说道，“大大，回来了。”小叔看着我，无奈的说，“今天早些时候给你四婆打电话，没人接，给你打电话，你也没接，不放心，回来看看。”我手在衣服口袋里摸了摸，说，“今天去苹果园，怕树枝绊，也不方便带，就没装手机。我回家看到你的电话，会第一时间给你回电话的。”小叔说好的。
四婆在家的日子里，儿女们有空就会回家看望四婆的，在乡里的四婆很精神，给村里人看病，有空串门子。小叔回来时，吃着四婆做的饭，吃的津津有味，四婆很开心。吃完饭，小叔和小姨连同孩子一起去地里转转，看到地里田头的邻居们，小叔总会上前聊些家长里短，显得很亲热。
一次，我在家陪孩子玩，妻子从四婆家回来说，“大大看了你在网上的小文章，说让你多看书，多去些地方，好好写。”我下午去了地里，在路上，小叔看到我，我们聊了聊，小叔没提写文章的事。小叔知道，我写文章，只要妻子不干涉，我是不会放弃这个爱好的。
过年时，去舅舅家走亲戚，舅舅家的一个亲戚看到小表弟，问道，在哪里读研?小表弟说，中国航空研究院，再一年半就毕业了。那个亲戚笑着说，硕士完了读博士。小表弟笑了，到时候再说吧。那个亲戚走了，我和表弟说起了小叔的事。小叔在我心里已经成了亲朋们学习向上的一面旗帜。尽力而为之，可以无悔矣。
期待小叔从国外大学交流学习归来后，带出的学生更优秀。想着小叔和一群外国师生在一起用流利的英语在交流，便又想起了我们一起去初中的路上碰到的那位说着简单英语句子的老人。

那年春天，年少气盛的我，抱着一种求知的渴望，只身来到东海的那端――日本，踏上了孤独而漫长的求学之路。远离了亲人，远离了故乡，看不见熟悉的景象，看不见熟悉笑容，更听不到熟悉的声音，我就像一叶浮萍飘荡在异国他乡，思乡的孤独萦绕满怀。
过了一段时间，我交了几个日本朋友，那是在樱花盛开的时节，朋友们为了让我快乐起来，邀我结伴来到了美丽的涵涫，阳光和煦，柔柔的风儿送来樱花的清香，我们开心轻松的笑着聊天。忽然一位日本朋友说：XIAOJIANG，我们认识也已不少时间了，我们都很喜欢中国，特别对中国的料理向往已久，你何时请我们吃中国菜啊。
我笑着说：好啊，没问题。我们去中国的餐馆吃中国菜。
谁知那位朋友笑着说：NO，我们是想吃你亲手做的中国菜。朋友们一听更加来了劲，齐声附和着说：对，我们非常想尝尝你亲手做的中国菜。
这一下我犯了傻，长这么大，父母为了让我专心学习，从未进过厨房学过做菜，这下如何是好，我怎么可能做得出来中国菜啊!可是望着这一群友好的朋友，我不好意思拂了他们热切的目光，只好心虚的答应下来：OK，没问题。你们就等着尝我这个大厨的杰作吧!呵呵。。。(对于下厨做菜我一点谱都没有，天知道我此时的这个微笑里隐藏着多少的恐慌啊!)
听我这么爽快地答应，朋友高兴地齐声欢呼起来，群情高涨。我双手一摊说：没地方做啊!他们哪里理会我的苦衷，不依不饶地说就到山口家去做，于是我们就开车回到山口家，朋友把我推进厨房说：就在这里做。进了厨房，我灵机一动说：要我做可以，可是我得出去买一些材料才行。他们没辙了，只好同意我出去买。
走出山口家的大门，我一路疾走来到大超市，在超市边找到一个公用电话亭，我赶紧给妈妈打越洋电话求救!电话拨通了，我高兴地跳了起来，马上告诉妈妈发生了什么事，妈妈听完笑着对我说：孩子别怕，妈妈现就教你做一道最可口简单的中国菜――西红柿炒鸡蛋。妈妈就在那边详详细细地说着要买些什么材料，做的步骤，我在这边紧张地一一记下来，最后妈妈问我记住了吗，让我重复一遍，我高高兴兴地说，我记住了。
挂了电话，我又马不停蹄的赶到超市，买了八个鸡蛋和五个西红柿，还有几根小葱。回到山口家，这时的我不再心里没底了，我高声说道：我回来了。等我走进厨房的时候，心里不再没有底了，呵呵，这个小小的厨房现在就是重塑另一个自我的舞台。从未做过的事情又有什么可怕的，只要你敢去探索敢于亲自去做。
我一边洗西红柿一边给自己鼓劲。一切都准备好了，我就按妈妈指导的一步步做下去。我先打破鸡蛋壳吧鸡蛋放在碗里，放好盐调匀，再切好西红柿，洗好小葱切碎备用。不慌不忙地打开灶台的开关把火点燃，把食用油放入锅内烧热，倒入鸡蛋炒成金黄色，起锅后把西红柿倒进锅里翻炒，等到快好时，再把炒成金黄色的鸡蛋放进锅里一起翻炒几下，最后放入小葱，呵呵，一道色香味俱全的佳肴做成了。金黄的鸡蛋鲜亮的西红、青绿色的小葱那么融合地在青花瓷的菜盘里交相辉映，散发出诱人的清香。(呵呵自己认为是非常美丽的上等佳肴，不知味道究竟怎样呢，还是不敢得意，朋友们尝了之后才知道)
我轻轻的推开厨房门，端出我在妈妈指导下做出来的这道菜，朋友们的目光追随着我手中的菜发出惊呼：啊，真漂亮的中国菜!
我笑着把菜轻轻放在桌子上，请大家品尝我做的菜，中国的。朋友们迫不及待的尝了起来，他们享受似地细细地品味着，伸出大拇指说：是高以(行的意思)，乌妈爱以(好吃的意思)!中国菜真棒!从他们惊喜的表情里，我知道：我成功了!呵呵，用心做出的菜，自然是世界上最美的!
西红柿炒鸡蛋，这个在中国最普通的一道菜，是我今生第一次学做的菜。为做这道菜我在日本花了近一千元人民币的成本(主要是越洋电话)，不过那种亲自下厨做菜的快乐，让我感觉到了贴近生活的芬芳。
西红柿炒鸡蛋，我留学生活中的另一道风景，异国他乡的行程中一份意外的美丽。
看过出国留学还看了：
到英国格拉斯哥大学留学已经一年多了。这年头，出国确实没什么了不起，但是，出国以后，我们每个人都很了不起，因为我们有其他人不能体会的辛酸苦辣。
生活有捷径
格拉斯哥的超市基本上都是买一送一。这样的话，就可以和同学合买以节省一半的费用。每到超市要关门的时候去买东西会很便宜，一只烤鸡白天卖3镑多，到关门的时候就只卖30便士到80便士(1镑等于100便士)。关门的时间是晚上8时，那么7时30分去就正好!你大可放心，决不是过期的烤鸡，在英国没有食品过期这一说，他们的说法是在某个日期以前吃最好。以前听说过某位仁兄在英国读书时一个星期只花了7镑，现在看来完全没问题。不过，好省不如好挣，还是稳稳找份工作吧。
初尝打工滋味
我打工的地方是一家马来西亚人开的自助餐厅。当时的职位空缺有楼面和后厨，分别代表服务生和打杂的。由于我去找工作时楼面已满，我只好屈居次席。所谓打杂，工作种类很多，比如洗碗、打30个鸡蛋并搅拌均匀、剥洋葱等等，我每小时的工资是4.5镑。但在我第三次去的时候就涨到了5镑!5镑是留学生中较高的工资。
我总结了一下自己的经验：第一，拿一分钱出一分力，从不偷懒。第二，和老员工搞好关系，闲暇时多和他们聊天。这样还能从中学到很多于活的技巧，先做什么后做什么，忙的时候不至于让自己手忙脚乱。第三，记得常常说谢谢、对不起!在我们店里不管是老板还是服务生，都会因为你对他的帮助而说谢谢，或因为他给你带来的小麻烦而说对不起。比如我正在洗碗，老板又拿了些盘子过来洗，他就会说“谢谢你”。有时候一晚上要听几十次“谢谢你”。这是人与人之间的一种基本的尊重，纵然我只是打工的，对我劳动的回报中也附加上尊重!
乡亲与乡愁
英国有很多东南亚的华侨移民，他们不大会讲普通话(多使用广东话或客家话)，但他们仍然牢记着自己血液中的中国根。
给我这次打工机会的就是一个精明能干的亚洲女性。她从马来西亚出道，在英国开餐馆，已经有十多年。尽管老板娘看起来是一副亚洲人的面孔，思维方式却是地道的英国人，就连说英语的口音都是地道的苏格兰腔。我第一次见到她的时候，她以为我是前来吃饭的食客，一脸笑容地说了句“你好”。当我表明来意后，她也没有收起微笑，很友善地让我留下电话，后来我就有了现在这份工作。
工作之初，我就和第三号厨师阿发建立了深厚的工作友谊。他们一家祖上是纯粹的中国人，父辈移民马来西亚，他们这一辈却又移民英国。
一次老板娘过生日，下工后我们一起给她庆祝。厨师阿强准备了清炒小白菜、麻辣味儿正宗的麻婆豆腐，还有看了就让人流口水的红烧肉。阿强祖籍福建，父亲是偷渡到英国来的，获得了难民身份得以在英国落脚生子。阿强的一手中国菜就是他父亲亲自传授的。一次意外的生日派对，让我仿佛回到了老家，心里热乎乎的。
我们店里这帮哥们儿，也许在语言、文化、生活上都暂时和中国脱离了关系，但无论走到哪里，成为什么样的人，都有一丝留在血液里的浓浓乡愁。即使很多方面被异族所同化，但只要还有一点遗留的中华文明的蛛丝马迹(比如中国菜)，它就会时刻提醒自己：我是谁，我来自什么地方。写到这里，我想起了余光中老先生《乡愁》中的诗句，我就稍稍篡改一下作为结尾吧：

为什么要出国留学？我的人生目标到底是什么？对于那些有意出国求学的学生，要理清自己的思路，明确留学目的，而且，出国后应该去享受留学这个过程，汲取知识的同时也学会如何生活。 总而言之，出国留学应学会独立。
专业专业的选择会成为考验你的第一道关卡。在这点上我是很久以后才明白这个道理的，所以我可以给大家当一个很好的反面教材，因为在英国念高中时理科成绩好于文科，学理的话在申请大学的时候会更有竞争力，所以奔着好大学，我选择学工科。但在开学不到两周内我就彻底后悔了。虽然每天只有两节课，可是每节课教授都会教一本在我看来像天书一样的教科书，每天剩下的时间就留给你自己消化。缺乏了对学科浓厚兴趣的我，在难题面前开始打心底里排斥一切所学的东西，这种纠结矛盾的心情一直伴随了我一整年。所以不要盲目跟风，在做选择前多做功课，多听取前人的经验，找到真正适合自己的专业。只有真正明白自己想要的是什么，在困难面前，你才可能越挫越勇。也只有拥有明确的目标，你才能从经历中提炼出属于自己的独特思维体系。所以正在选择专业的你们，应该三思而后行。
学校
外国的大学教育和国内的有很大的区别。拿英国来说吧，学生在跨入大学校门以前，接受的是个性教育，学校重视的是综合素质和个性的发展，而进了大学后，他们要面对的就是严谨的学科教育了。学业负担开始变得繁重，学校会在不同的阶段设置各种各样的考核，以保证每个毕业的学生都是合格的人才，
第一个需要掌握的是自学能力。大学的老师强调的是自主学习，他们很多时候只能起个引导的作用，这对于习惯了被国内老师“捧”着教的学生们来说一开始可能很不适应。平时学生可以自由支配的时间非常充裕，可很多留学生就把他误解成娱乐时间，回宿舍上上网，玩玩游戏，蹉跎光阴。相对而言，明白人此刻应该在图书馆里整理今天的学习任务。到了大学，每个人都应学会独自思考，很多时候没有人能帮助你，唯有培养自己解决问题的能力才是长久之计。
另一个我要强调的是抗压能力。每个大学都会有一套淘汰不合格学生的系统，考试挂科或者论文没过之类的都会成为他们淘汰你的理由。所以，作为学生，还是要承担很大的学业压力的。我经常会看见很多同学为了明天早上的作业挑灯夜读，熬夜赶论文在大学里更是家常便饭。当然，我并不是主张大家以牺牲身体健康为代价，拼命地学，只是希望你们到了大学以后可以合理安排自己的时间，在压力面前可以不慌不乱，做好自己该做的事。
生活
比起学习，留学可能更多的让我懂得了怎样去生活，怎样在陌生的环境里立足，照顾好自己，每天都阳光灿烂的活着。
很多留学生都抱怨国外的生活枯燥乏味，其实我觉得快乐与否很大一部分取决于自己的心理调节能力，保持一颗乐观、积极向上的心，很多时候可以帮助你勇敢的面对当前的困境或者挫折。
必要的时候，更要学会自娱自乐。孤单无助的情绪在异国他乡是难免的，用怎样的方式去排解却是可以选择的。例如，我建议大家多参加点课外活动，像加入一个自己感兴趣的社团，结交一帮志同道合的朋友，尽量让生活充实忙碌起来。而且，你各方面的能力也会在一次次的活动历练中得以提高。还有就是学会与人相处，如果你能本着谦逊的态度和学长多进行沟通交流，可以让你在今后的学习生活上少走弯路。

附：如何办理经济担保
经济担保：即资助单位或个人为申请留学者赴海外留学期间提供经济上的资助。
由于自费出国留学在学费、生活费、住宿费等各种费用十分昂贵，申请留学者必须证明自己有足够能力支付这些费用。经济来源方式有自筹资金、亲友资助、获取奖学金助学金等方式。因而，足够的经济担保是各国普遍的要求。许多国家均对经济担保人的资格、担保金额作出明确的规定。若留学生能获取较高的奖学金、助学金，可以不要经济担保。
经济担保书就是经济担保人表明其经济收入，愿意承担自费留学人员留学期间所需的一切费用(常包括学费、生活费和交通费等)并注明与留学人员关系的函件。经济担保书一般使用英文书写。经济担保书的正本则需提供给大使馆审核，如果学校也要求你出示只需将复印件上缴即可。
经济担保应注意的问题
经济担保人提交经济担保书及银行存款证明后，不必冻结其银行存款。但通常各国使领馆要求该存款的存期在三个月或半年以上并可能向银行查对存款以防弄虚作假的欺骗行为。
经济柜保中的不动产，有价证券和国债只能作为证明担保人经济实力的另一有力证明。从签证角度分析，单纯出具上述文件是较不容易得到认可的。
经济担保人办理经济担保的方法
国外经济担保人可按校方要求的货币直接把留学入员所需的学费，教科书费、生活费，医疗费等一切费用寄到学校，学校收到款项后将寄来回执。担保人持回执到律师事务所办理经济担保公证手续，公证书应当包括经济担保人与被担保人的关系。
国外担保人将流通货币汇入留学人员就读学校的国家银行，以担保人的名义或以被担保人名义开户，凭银行的存款证明书可以到律师事务所办理经济担保的公证手续。
国外担保人在留学学生就读学校的国家，可到当地律师事务所申请担保人资产公证，并向所在国移民厅出具公证文件(公证应包括与被担保人的亲属关系)。
国内的担保人办理经济担保要出具经济担保书和银行开具的银行存款证明书并公证。存款数额按每个国家所要求的金额即可。

Though lacking of experience at the beginning compared with the other professionals in our team, he strove to keep up with the research by eagerly absorbing all necessary knowledge and constantly consulting other members with much modest. Therefore, not long after he could conduct the experiments without any assistance from the others working in the lab. He even led the discussion of our journal club that he set up from the very beginning in my lab, from which all of us benefited a lot. His diligence and perseverance in our lab have paid off. Later, on the basis of analyzing the various experiment conditions, he successfully settled the problems in the design of circuits and procedures, greatly improving the measuring accuracy in the experiment. This showed that Mr. Zhu was already qualified for independent scientific research work. Another indication of Mr. Zhu‘s creativity is the project on new airplane energy in which he participated. This project was the only one in our department and one of the few in the entire Peking University that were qualified for final exhibit at the “Challenge Cup-Looking Ahead into the New Millennium” Creativity Contest for all-Beijing universities students.
Besides, I find in Mr. Zhu a rare independent personality and maturity. For example, he was admitted into the Computer Department of our university as a student holding two Bachelor‘s Degrees (one of which being Bachelor‘s Degree in E-Business) as he excelled both in physics and computer science. But eventually he gave up what other students would think a golden opportunity for a well-ensured high paid job. He calmly told me the reason: He prefers physics to computer studies.

Running is the awareness of hurdles between me and the finish line; runningis the desire to overcome them. Running is putting up with aches and pains，relishing the knowledge that，in the end，I will have built strength andendurance. Running is the instant clarity of vision with which I can see myfuture just one hundred yards in the distance; it is the understanding thatthese crucial steps will determine victory or defeat。
