1、外语条件

二、公费出国留学人员的选派

按国家统一计划，面向全国招生，统一选拔、派出，执行统一经费开支规定的出国留学人员，为国家公费出国留学人员(简称“国家公费);按部门、地方、单位计划，面向本地区、本 单位招生、选拔、派出，执行部门、地方、单位经费开支规定的出国留学人员(包括个人经本单位同意和支持，通过取得各种奖学金、贷学金、资助等并纳入派出计划的留学人员”为各部门 、地方、单位的公费出国留学人员(简称“单位公费”)。
(2)公费出国留学人员分为大学生、研究生、进修人员和访问学者。
(3)出国攻读大学本科、专科和研究生的留学人员在国外的学习年限一般按对方国家的学制，由派出单位确定。出国进修人员和访问学者在国外的期限，根据进修和研究课题的实际 需要，一般为三个月至一年，特别情况可为一年半，均由派出单位按派遣计划确定。
(4)派出单位要帮助和指导公费出国留学人员选好在国外学习、进修、实习或从事研究的单位。这些单位应具有较高水平或专业方面特长

This experience instilled in me the desire to own and manage my own business someday, yet I understand that the business world today is more complex. In addition to my helping out in my father’s business, I have had numerous other work experiences that further enhance my qualifications for this program. My resume enumerates the various positions I have held at Kerasotes Theaters, Chili’s restaurants, and Indiana University’s new Student Recreational Sports Center (SRSC), and what all of these positions have in common is an emphasis on serving the public effectively. Further, as an assistant manager at the Showplace 11 and a staff coordinator at the SRSC, I have gained valuable expertise in managing employees and creating work schedules. Both of these positions have allowed me to develop my sales and people skills, which are extremely important in an increasingly service-driven marketplace.
Not all of my work experience has been as a paid employee. Part of my volunteering experience at Middleway House, the local battered women’s shelter, involved extensive work on computers, including word processing, organizing databases and creating spreadsheets. Also, I recently participated in an internship program for academic credit with the Eli Lilly corporation in the personnel division. As a management intern, I was able to watch the workings of a major corporation up close and would like the opportunity to combine my experiences with the theoretical background available in the MBA program at IUB, with its emphasis on computers, marketing and human resources.
My successful internship is one element of my overall academic success as an undergraduate here at IUB, yet I have also made time for a variety of extracurricular activities, including working for my sorority and competing in intramural basketball. My positive experiences here have resulted in my desire to stay in Bloomington to continue my academic endeavors; furthermore, continuing my education here would allow me to make important business contacts, with the career goal of opening my own computer consulting firm in the Midwest.

Since I was young I have always had a keen interest in the way that the things around me work. From marvelling at the telephone to how planes can fly, engineering advances have never failed to captivate me. For this reason, I have always tried to find out how such things function, and about how they have had an impact on the society we live in today. Coupled with the fact that I have always enjoyed the logical and problem-solving processes involved in maths and physics, I decided several years ago to embark on a career in engineering.
Since then, I have endeavoured to find out as much about engineering as possible. I researched the great engineers such as Brunel, and discovered the great works they had completed. I have attended several engineering conferences, the most recent of which I was selected to speak live on radio about my experiences. And once I had completed several weeks' worth of work experience, I was assured that it was the career that I wanted to pursue.
This summer, I took part in the Nuffield Bursary scheme for a month, working in a team, at Aerogistics Ltd. Our project was to analyse and implement a new system for the distribution of consumable materials to the individual departments within the company. We found the current system to be highly inefficient and after much data gathering and thought, presented our findings to the senior managers of the company who agreed with our ideas. The last week was spent starting the implementation of these ideas. I found the experience to be highly challenging, yet rewarding especially as it led to me gaining a Gold Crest Award. I also found it useful as I got to see engineers at work and the daily problems that they face. I learnt that there is a lot more to being a good engineer than possessing technical competence, although this is undoubtedly important; team work, communication and leadership skills are vital as well.
I have also recently been selected to complete two placements with army engineers. One of these placements will focus on the more practical side of engineering while the other will focus on the skills needed by a professional engineer focussing on project planning and leadership. I hope to find the experience useful.
In my spare time I like to play sport and music. In secondary school I was captain for the Netball and Football teams, as well as taking part in various other sports. The experience of this greatly improved my team working abilities as well as my fitness. As a keen musician I am working towards my grade 5 theory and grade 7 practical on cello. I am a member of a Youth Orchestra, and have just recently completed a tour of Italy. I am also in the school orchestra and have led several orchestras in the past, before progressing to the LYO.
In school, I am Deputy Head Girl, helping to lead a team of over 40 prefects. I find this to be a challenging and stimulating role and believe it has developed my confidence immensely. As well as carrying out the normal duties of a prefect, such as supervising younger students, I must lead and manage the other prefects. My role involves arranging rotas, organising after school events such as the Year 7 social and parent's evenings and public speaking as well as other responsibilities, which have developed my communication, organisation and leadership skills immensely. The role requires a lot of commitment, but it has helped to improve my time management, as I try to strike a balance between it and school work, which is my main priority. I have also been selected to compete in the Physics Olympiad and have been entered for the Biology Advanced Extension.

一、公费出国留学的条件

二、申请公费出国留学的步骤
1、采取“个人申请、单位推荐、专家评审、择优录取”的方式进行选拔。符合申请条件者，经所在单位审核同意后，按规定的程序和办法申请/。
2、申请方式及时间：采取网上报名的方式。申请人须登录国家公派留学信息管理系统进行报名，按照相应项目要求准备申请材料并提交所在单位审核，经其同意后再正式提交。网上报名时间按相关项目要求执行。
3、受理方式：国家留学基金委委托国家留学基金受理机构/高校统一受理本地区(单位、部门)的申请。受理机构/高校负责接受咨询、受理、审核申请材料并统一向国家留学基金委提交材料。国家留学基金委一般不直接受理个人及单位的申请。申请受理方式请见《20国家留学基金资助出国留学项目一览表》。

参加各种考试

1、GRE

与学校保持联系，等待录取
提交申请之后并不代表就没啥事可做了。在提交申请之后一定要确认申请材料是否顺利送达学校，是否有遗漏的。学校在收到学生的申请材料后一般会回信或者回复电子邮件，学生如果没有及时收到回复，一定要联系学校确认是否有收到，如有遗漏一定要及时补齐。
还有就是要为可能会出现的测试做准备。比如美国大学现在越来越重视面试，不少学校在招生过程中都加入了面试环节，面试成绩对于录取结果影响非常大，建议事先做好心理准备，有的学校还会有要求语言成绩未达到多少分的学生入学之后还得参加语言能力测试的规定。
筛选OFFER并回复学校
通常申请出国留学的同学为了确保能获得录取，顺利出国留学，会申请多所院校而并非一所。如果能获得心仪院校的录取那自然是极好的，但是还有些学生会获得多所院校的录取，然而人只有一个，只能在其中做出选择，挑选一所你最想去的院校。这里需要注意两点：
1)要及时给与发放OFFER的学校回复，尤其是自己想去的院校。
2)确定要去某所院校之后还要缴纳一定的占位费。
申请签证、预定机票
拿到海外院校的OFFER之后，学生还需要有入境别国的“门票”才能顺利出国留学，而签证，就是我们进入别的国家所需要的门票。
申请美国留学签证一般需要准备：护照、I-20表格、签证表格、签证费收据和SEVICE 费收据、资金证明、成绩单等申请材料。

During my gap year I have had several work experience placements in variousskilled trades such as building and joinery. For example, whilst helping to build a garage I learnt about theimportance of good design and planning by having to interpret the designs inorder to determine how many bricks would be needed. During its constuction Inoticed how important it was to build accurately, particually at the corners ofthe building which supported most of the weight of the roof. I also discoveredthe importance of keeping costs low, but the quality of work high. We made adifferent type of cement which was cheaper and weaker, but still met the needsfor the inner walls. The most rewarding part of this experience seeing theproject through from a plan on paper to its completion, and the feeling ofsatisfaction once it was completely built.
I have a passionate interest in music and have been playing guitar forabout 5 years. I have enjoyed my time as a member of a band, which has helped meto work creatively as part of a team. More recently, I have also achieved grade2 in jazz piano. For years I have had a great enthusiasm for skateboarding andin November 20xx began undertaking voluntary work with a group helping to planand design a skateboarding facility in Kings Heath park. 本科插班生须每 3 个月向国内学校和驻外使(领)馆提交学习报告。
12. 攻读博士学位的公派研究生如何进行学业进展年度审核?
答：国家留学基金委自 年 9 月 1 日起对攻读博士学位的公派研究生的学业进展进行年度审核。攻读博士学位的公派研究生自派出之日起以每 12 个月为一个年度审核期。每个审核期届满前 2 个月，公派研究生应在国家公派留学管理信息平台提交本人学业进展报告，并促请导师在每个审核期届满前 1 个月向国家留学基金委提交评价意见。导师在公派研究生提交学业进展报告后会自动收到国家留学基金委发送的邮件，提请其登录指定网址提交对学生的评价意见。
通过审核的，由国家留学基金委通知所属驻外使(领)馆继续发放下一资助期的奖学金;未通过审核的，国家公派留学资格终止，奖学金停发，办理提前回国手续，回国国际旅费仍由国家留学基金提供。未按要求回国的，按违约处理。
13. 攻读博士学位的公派研究生获得博士学位后可否继续从事博士后研究?
答：可以。攻读博士学位的公派研究生在国外获得博士学位、申请继续从事博士后研究的，应当在留学期限届满前 2 个月以上向所属使(领)馆提出个人书面申请、推选单位意见函(在职人员)、国外留学单位或导师意见函，由使(领)馆报国家留学基金委审批。
经批准从事博士后研究者，应当办理续签《协议书》手续。从事博士后研究的时间最长为2 年，费用自理，国家公派留学人员的身份不变。
14. 学成回国前如何办理回国手续?
答：学成回国前，留学人员应提前与我驻留学所在国使(领)馆教育(文化)处(组)联系，预订回国机票。届时由我驻留学所在国使(领)馆教育(文化)处(组)开具《留学回国人员证明》，并购买回国机票回国。
15. 赴无教育处(组)驻在国的国家公派留学人员应如何办理回国机票?

16. 留学人员如何申请开具《留学回国人员证明》?
答：留学人员在留学期限届满前，按照我驻外使(领)馆教育(文化)处(组)的规定，提供有关材料，申请开具《留学回国人员证明》。
17. 未按规定留学期限回国的留学人员还能享受回国机票吗?

I got my very first glimpse into law by watching my father, my hero, a Ph.D. of law and now the Chinese ambassador to Barbados. I have been inspired by his work as an international lawyer and a career diplomat while growing up. 一、国家公派留学申请条件
博士研究生申请时年龄不超过35岁具有硕士学位，或申请时为应届本科毕业生，或在读硕士生(含应届硕士毕业生)或博士一年级学生。
硕士研究生申请时年龄不超过30岁，具有学士学位或优秀本科毕业生，身体健康，表现良好。
访问学者(含博士后研究)申请时年龄不超过50岁，应为高等学校、企事业单位、各级行政单位、科研单位的正式工作人员。
高级研究学者申请时年龄不超过55岁，除应符合访问学者的申请条件外，还需具备以下条件之一：
①国家重点实验室、教育部重点实验室、国家工程(技术)研究中心骨干;
②“长江学者”特聘教授或教育部当年确定支持的创新团队中的骨干或“新世纪优秀人才计划”入选者及其他国家级人才计划入选者;

二、如何申请
1、国家留学基金全额资助项目、与有关国家互换奖学金项目按照“个人申请，专家评审，平等竞争，择优录取”的方式进行选拔，并由留学基金委委托有关国家留学基金申请受理机构(以下简称受理机构)受理，留学基金委不直接受理个人及单位的申请。受理机构负责接受咨询、受理申请材料及对材料进行审核等事宜。各受理机构的地址及电话请上_网查询。
2、专项出国留学项目及有关合作项目按照“个人申请，单位推荐，专家评审，平等竞争，择优录取”的方式进行选拔，由各有关单位按项目要求统一组织申报并提交申请材料，留学基金委不受理个人申请。部分项目如高校基础课任课教师出国研修项目、俄罗斯艺术类项目等，留学基金委将委托有关受理机构受理申请(具体项目请查阅附件五《通过受理机构申请项目一览表》)。其他项目由留学基金委按项目要求直接受理申请。部分项目的遴选事宜，留学基金委将及时在_网上公布并将遴选通知发至有关单位，在此之前暂不受理申请。具体申请办法请查阅《20_年国家留学基金资助出国留学项目指南》。

一、外出
1、要出去做某件事时，提早规划好时间行程，不要赶火车迟到，出现退票扣手续费的情形，也不能在某处停留过久，以至于赶不上最后一趟地铁，只好打的，然而晚上坐车价格上不划算外，更重要的是，也不安全。所以，尽量在白天出门，做事干脆一些，拖沓的习惯是不可取的。

做一个准确的定位，结合校园氛围、师资水准、周边环境等，综合判断，还要考虑到大中小城市的消费情况，以及未来的发展空间是否有上升潜能。
除了看学校实力，还要选择好合适的专业，不同科目的收费标准会有差异。
三、住宿
刚去的第一学期，是和别人合租，两人或三人为宜，同班或同系是最为恰当的，因为上的课程基本相同，能保持一致的作息规律，不会影响对方的睡眠质量。
周围的事物大多新奇，和朋友待在一起，能减缓思乡心切，不会觉得孤单，并且能彼此鼓励，共同进步、成长成熟。
有效利用公共区域，如厨房、冰箱，多余的菜可以冷藏起来保鲜，行李箱塞一些小型的锅具是很管用的，最开始可做简单的水煮，到后期试着煎炒，再多尝试不同特色的美食种类，能让宿舍生活过得非常“小资”。
