一、重视知识的系统整合，引导学生构建知识网络。
在课堂上以学生为主体，充分课发挥学生的主动性，老师主要起引导学生去整理已经学过的知识。不能只简单的要求学生背诵课本表面的知识，复习课是更高层次的新授课，不仅复习知识，还应串联知识，归纳知识，整合知识，加深内涵的理解。
二、注重学法指导，总结解题方法。
好的学习方法可以使学生的学习获得事半功倍的效果，教师要注意对学生学习方法的指导，如做图分析题，有的学生没有真正掌握好做题方法，只是一味的死记硬背，最终还是一知半解，没有真正理解知识，这时就需要老师及时提高学生看图分析的能力、和做题方法。
三、精讲典型例题，培养创新思维
以往我们上复习课时经常使用练习卷，采用学生练——老师讲的方式进行，不自觉的陷入题海战。结果是学生喊累，老师着急，学生没有真正理解掌握知识。这次我们采取各章突破综合复习练习的方法;并且可用少数的几个典型的习题，例如气候类型的分析，组织学生分析该题主要考点、讨论解题方法，还可让学生自己围绕该题进行相互出题和解题，然后引导进行总结，培养学生的发散性思维。
课上注意听讲。七年级地理大部分需要理解，理解了记忆起来就会容易很多。所以上课听讲是关键。有的人认为地理是文科，主要靠背，如果用心背，肯定会成绩好。其实不然，大部分靠理解，只有理解了，记忆起来才会事半功倍。
积极思考，重在理解。七年级地理需要理解的内容部分很多，大部分知识只靠死记硬背是不行的，即使背会知识点，在实际做题中也不会运用，所以必须多思考，注意理解。
注意总结归纳规律。初中地理学中有许多知识都是有规律的，比如气候类型的分布、人口的分布等，总结归纳了规律，学起来和记忆起来就会很容易。
相同、相似知识点对比记忆。地理事物有很多具有相似性，很多规律也具有相同点。所以，我们找出相同、相似点，进行对比来记忆学习，会使得学起来十分容易。
注意地图的重要性。地理学有很多知识单靠文字去学习、记忆是不行的，必须看图，看图比看文字更重要。地图是学习地理的基本工具，这一点不要忘记。
持之以恒，每天看课本10——15分钟。地理知识纷繁复杂，很多知识点，所以必须及时复习。坚持每天看15分钟左右的课本，长期坚持就会受到很好的效果。
第1课 隋的统一与大运河
⒈隋朝的建立：581年，杨坚(隋文帝)，年号开皇。隋文帝的继任者是隋炀帝(杨广)
⒉589年，隋朝灭掉了南方的陈。这是继秦朝之后，中国又一次完成了统一。 3.隋炀帝开凿大运河的目的：为了加强南北政治、经济、文化和联系，巩固统治。
4.大运河：2+3+4+5=1。2：全长两千多千米;3点：中心洛阳、北到涿郡、南到余杭;4段：永济渠、通济渠、邗沟和江南河，5大水系：连接了海河、黄河、淮河和长江、钱塘江五大水系;1：一条贯通南北的大运河，是古代世界上最长的运河。
5.大运河的作用：大运河开通后成为贯通南北的大动脉，大大促进了我国南北经济的交流和发展，巩固了统治。
第2课 唐太宗与贞观之治
⒈隋炀帝不惜民力，酷虐残暴，导致农民起义。隋朝二世而亡。 2.李渊于618年建立唐朝，定都长安，他就是唐高祖。 3.唐太宗的年号是“贞观”。被唐太宗比喻为可以“知得失”的一面镜子的大臣是魏征。
4.唐太宗统治期间，政治比较清明，经济得到恢复和发展，国力增强，被誉为“贞观之治”。
5.唐太宗的统治措施： (1)、选贤用能，知人善任，虚心纳谏 (2)、改革赋役制度，轻徭薄赋。
(3)沿袭和完善隋代的“三省六部制”和科举制度。(“三省”指的是中书省、尚书省、门下省。其中，尚书省下设六部。) (4)修改法令，编纂《唐律疏议》。(是中国现存最早的一部完备的法典) (5)、民族关系上：密切与少数民族的关系。
第3课 气度恢弘的隆盛时代
⒈武则天登上帝位后，改国号为“周”，她是我国历史上惟一的女皇帝。 2.武则天的统治措施：
(1)重用酷吏，严厉打击反对她的元老重臣、勋贵旧族。 (2)武则天改《贞观氏族志》为《姓氏录》。
(3)武则天还大力发展科举制度，并创立殿试制度，亲自面试考生。 (4)武则天重视农业生产，减轻百姓负担。 武则天统治时期，史称“贞观遗风”，上承“贞观之治”，下启“开元盛世”为唐朝全盛时期的到来奠定了基础。 ⒋唐玄宗统治的前期，年号“开元”，由于他重用贤能，任用名相，锐意改革等。使政局稳定，经济繁荣，被誉为“开元盛世”。
5.唐朝出现的新型农业工具——曲辕犁，可用于控制入土深浅。与新的灌溉技术——筒车一起，推动了农业生产的发展。
