Each human being is born as something new, something that never existed before. Each is born with the capacity to win at life. Each person has a unique way of seeing, hearing, touching, tasting and thinking. Each has his or her own unique potentials---capabilities and limitations. Each can be a significant, thinking, aware, and creative being---a productive person, a winner.
The word “winner” and “loser” have many meanings. When we refer to a person as a winner, we do not mean one who makes someone else lose. To us, a winner is one who responds authentically by being credible, trustworthy, responsive, and genuine, both as an individual and as a member of a society.
Winners do not dedicated their lives to a concept of what they imagine they should be; rather, they are themselves and as such do not use their energy putting on a performance, maintaining pretence and manipulating others. They are aware that there is a difference between being loving and acting loving, between being stupid and acting stupid, between being knowledgeable and acting knowledgeable. Winners do not need to hide behind a mask.
Winners are not afraid to do their own thinking and to use their own knowledge. They can separate facts from opinions and don’t pretend to have all the answers. They listen to others, evaluate what they say, but come to their own conclusions. Although winners can admire and respect other people, they are not totally defined, demolished, bound, or awed by them.
Winners do not play “helpless”, nor do they play the blaming game. Instead, they assume responsibility for their own lives. They don’t give others a false authority over them. Winners are their own bosses and know it.
A winner’s timing is right. Winners respond appropriately to the situation. Their responses are related to the message sent and preserve the significance, worth, well-being, and dignity of the people involved. Winners know that for everything there is a season and for every activity a time.
Although winners can freely enjoy themselves, they can also postpone enjoyment, can discipline themselves in the present to enhance their enjoyment in the future. Winners are not afraid to go after what he wants, but they do so in proper ways. Winners do not get their security by controlling others. They do not set themselves up to lose.
A winner cares about the world and its peoples. A winner is not isolated from the general problems of society, but is concerned, compassionate, and committed to improving the quality of life. Even in the face of national and international adversity, a winner’s self-image is not one of a powerless individual. A winner works to make the world a better place.

《人间失格》（又名《丧失为人的资格》）日本小说家太宰治创作的中篇小说，发表于1948年，是一部半自传体的.小说。
《人间失格》以“我”看到叶藏的三张照片后的感想开头，中间是叶藏的三篇手记，而三篇手记与照片对应，分别介绍了叶藏幼年、青年和壮年时代的经历，描述了叶藏是如何一步一步走向丧失为人资格的道路的。
作品中太宰治巧妙地将自己的人生与思想，隐藏于主角叶藏的人生遭遇，藉由叶藏的独白，窥探太宰治的内心世界——“充满了可耻的一生”。在发表该作品的同年，太宰治自杀身亡。

《生而为风,一生追寻》随笔
呼啸着卷起风沙，在这旭日高挂的天空。他是在喧嚣着什么，是什么让他快马加鞭的赶往东南？如此着急，他大概是在迎着南去的花香追赶已去的冬日吧。
浩浩荡荡的穿越着，从西北的戈壁到广袤的草原。无形无色却似狂刀烈酒，携卷着风沙的浪涛桀傲的奔腾，所过之地留下片片狼籍。穿山跃领临溪而过，力量的削弱也不能阻挡他的志向。也许，生而为风便注定了一生追寻。
花信风，风追赶南去的季节却留下了春。春该去如何感谢这风下霸道的恩赐。当我站立在山头之时，面朝着风袭来的方向；风沙掠过给了我一身的杨尘，也刮乱了我整齐的衣角。他早已失去了原有的锋芒，只是扑面却无寒意。
风袭下摇曳着的枝桠，他们似乎是在告诉风，似乎是在向来不及碰面的冬日带去问候。有时候我也在想着，我为何迷茫，在想着为何自己丢失了远航的.方向。

读《母爱：生而为一棵树》有感
“世上只有妈妈好，有妈的孩子的孩子像个宝”这是一首平常再平常不过的儿歌，可是里面却蕴含着对母亲浓浓的爱意。
母亲是一棵大树，无论春夏秋冬，严寒酷暑，总是固守家园，为我们遮住炎热的阳光，挡独住冷冽的暴风。
树总在四季徘徊，在春天冒出嫩芽，夏天绿树成荫，秋天落叶飘零，冬天被冰雪掩埋，也许是不变的徘徊，是人们不去注意，以为家常变饭。
母爱不只是一颗普通的树，更是一棵耐寒常绿，四季常青的雪松，不管面对多么困苦的环境，总是依然挺立，在那困苦不堪的环境中生存下去。
也许在你一帆风顺时，你人为她是多余的'，并不需要他的庇护，你可以往前冲，去闯一番大事业，你只有自己成功的喜悦，可曾想过在你成功的背后是多少辛勤的汗水，把你这一住小幼苗灌溉成为苍天大树。如果你受了伤，碰了壁后，你又该何去何从，可她却还是无微不至的照顾你，不求回报，待你伤口愈合后，又帮你重新飞上天空，最后她得到的却是冷眼旁观的对待，可曾想过，说一句谢谢，也会使她安慰，让她的辛苦至少没有白费。
母爱又对多少人而言是可望而不可即的，在那些失去母爱的孩子们心中，母爱比任何一样东西都珍贵，羡慕别人有而自己没有，在心中留下阴影，他们希望有这样的母爱来关心自己。一些人生在福中不知福，恐怕只有失去了才知道珍惜。
在我们成长的岁月中，皱纹已经开始蔓延母亲的脸庞，母亲的青丝已变成银丝，可她还是无怨无悔。母亲对我们的爱是无私的，是伟大的，从不会去奢求什么回报，我们在她的呵护中健康成长，无忧无虑，而我们也是不是应该为母亲做些什么，无论什么方式，母亲都会开心，因为他知道孩子大了，懂事了。
我们可以帮母亲做做家务，让母亲少操点心，我们可以帮母亲捶捶腿，让母亲放松心情。对母亲来说，最大的报答莫过于你的成绩了吧，只有现在取得好成绩，长大以后才有出息。

A doctor entered the hospital in hurry after being called in for an urgent surgery. He answered the call asap, changed his clothes & went directly to the surgery block. He found the boy's father pacing in the hallwaiting for the doctor. On seeing him, the dad yelled:
在接到一通紧急手术的电话以后，一名医生急匆匆地走进医院。他一听到电话马上就接了，换了衣服，径直走到手术区域。他看见患者的父亲在走廊焦急地来回踱步等待着医生，一看见医生便咆哮道：
“Why did you take all this time to come? Don't you know that my son's life is in danger? Don't you have any sense of responsibility?”
你怎么这么久才来?知不知道我的儿子危在旦夕?你还有没有点责任心?
The doctor smiled & said:
医生面带微笑说道：
“I am sorry, I wasn't in the hospital & I came as fast as I could after receiving the call...... And now, I wish you'd calm down so that I can do my work”
“我很抱歉当时我不在医院，接到电话以后我也尽可能快的赶来了，现在你需要冷静，我要开始我的工作了。
“Calm down?! What if your son was in this room right now, would you calm down? If your own son dies now what will you do??” said the father angrily
冷静?!如果现在手术室里面的是你的儿子，你会冷静么?如果你自己的儿子要死了，你会怎么做呢?这位父亲生气的说道。
The doctor smiled again & replied: “I will say what Job said in the Holy Book ”From dust we came & to dust we return, blessed be the name of God“. Doctors cannot prolong lives.
医生依然面带微笑回答道：我会说，约伯在《圣经》里曾说，承蒙上天关爱，我们源于尘土也终将归于尘土。
The surgery took some hours after which the doctor went out happy,”Thank goodness!, your son is saved!“ And without waiting for the father's reply he carried on his way running. ”If you have any question, ask the nurse!!“
手术进行了几个小时，之后医生高兴地从里面走出来。“感谢上帝，你的儿子得救了!“还没有等父亲回答，他就一路小跑走了“如果你有任何问题，问护士吧。”
”Why is he so arrogant? He couldn't wait some minutes so that I ask about my son's state“ Commented the father when seeing the nurse minutes after the doctor left.
几分钟后父亲看到护士抱怨道，“他为什么如此傲慢，也不等个几分钟让我问问儿子的情况”
The nurse answered, tears coming down her face: ”His son died yesterday in a road accident, he was in the burial when we called him for your son's surgery. And now that he saved your son's life, he left running to finish his son's burial.“
“他的儿子昨天出交通事故去世了，我们打电话让他手术的时候他正好在善后，现在他救好了你儿子就要赶回去参加葬礼。”说着护士留下了眼泪。
Moral - Never judge anyone..... because you never know how their life is and what they're going through”
