《红与黑》是司汤达的代表作品。司汤达又译为斯丹达尔，本名玛利伯特小熊，自1830年7月改革后就一直在政府部门任职。他死前悄无声息，在文学界上压根�]有容身之地。可是就这样一个人，写下了让世界最知名的的作家、抨击家都特别感兴趣的著作。可以说，斯丹达尔彻底是凭着这本书便在中国文学史上获得了基本上和巴尔扎克并列的部位。
《红与黑》是荷兰甚至欧洲地区现代主义的奠基石作。小说集关键便是叙述了于连索美的这个人，以他与2个女主角的爱情为主导线，最后的结果是他的2次爱情都毁灭了，他自己也去世了。
看了第一遍觉得有一些糊里糊涂，吃不住求知欲，数次阅读文章以后总算有一定的掌握。于连是独自一人在与全部社会现状矛盾，再加上他那极大的欲望，最后造成了他的恶运。我本人觉得于连是有点儿超级变态的，由于在第一次爱情的情况下，他彻底是一种下一层人对顶层人的对付心理状态。他由于看不顺眼省长的高傲就想要去占据省长的老婆来对付，他成功了。
读得多了以后，。我发觉于连这一人的个性太尤其了。他探求真理，却又为反动势力服务；他刚正不阿心地善良，却又以虚情假意的相貌进出皇室阶级。从他的行为中，我读取了欲望，及其他心里那股不甘心低人一等的强烈欲望。
殊不知我非常青睐的或是这一部书的心理描绘。不得不承认，斯丹达尔的心理描绘确实很有特性，在著作中，角色心理的挣脱、分歧、歪曲、抗争……每一种转变都真正细致、深厚迷人，拥有别具匠心的描绘，充满了逻辑性和客观。尤其是在描绘于连和2个女主角的爱情时，那心理细微的转变和发展趋势全过程剖析的非常的精美、独特。也难怪丹纳都说斯丹达尔是这一时期和一切时期最杰出的心理文学家。他开辟了心理小说集的先例。
这一部书体现了荷兰下一层青年人的念头和境遇，于连便是一个那样的反映，很有可能非是全部的人都喜爱他，但毫无疑问都是会被他吸引住。
这确实是本好书推荐。
《红与黑》是开学时读的了，距今已过去三个多月，其实内容倒也真忘的差不多了。不过还是有一些想法的。
男主叫于连，是个木匠的儿子，不受宠爱，被父亲欺负利用，不过于连很聪明，也很有野心。他崇拜的人是拿破仑，他会偷偷藏起拿破仑的照片，不断翻阅拿破仑自传，激励自己成为拿破仑那样“成功”的人。起初我被于连读书的能力所震惊，他真的记忆力很好，虽然对神，宗教类的很不屑，但他是成绩最好的，他能把圣经倒背如流。但当时也觉得于连真的很势力也很有野心，因为感觉他的每一步都很有目的。为了以后的发展进入了市长的家，当了家庭教师。他为了钱权细细密谋着自己的一举一动。见市长时应该说些什么，做些什么，他都要想一想。我觉得很累。但想一下，他也是个很有毅力的人，能够一直这样下去，但是总觉得他是自卑的。不管是面对瑞纳夫人还是玛特尔小姐，他开始虽然都是精心计划，勾引瑞纳夫人，追求玛特尔小姐，但奇怪的是，他也陷入其中。就是我发现他不是为了追求那种刺激，也许他一开始有些这种想法，但他并不是那种花花公子类的。特别是他要走的时候，他翻墙不惧被抓只为与瑞纳夫人告别，他在花园苦苦等待只为与玛特尔小姐相遇。他在每次爱情中都深陷其中，并甘愿牺牲自己。说他有野心，是的，他野心很大，他渴求钱权，但他有有一种天真，那种面对感情的天真，一点也不顾世俗，也不顾被伤害，如飞蛾扑火一般。他是很稚嫩的。对于于连，瑞纳，玛特尔，三个迥然不同的人。瑞纳夫人明明之前那么爱于连，可是她更爱自己的孩子，她也许可以不顾世俗的眼光追求爱情，可是她害怕自己的孩子因此受伤害，所以当孩子病了，她以为是自己犯了错误所以上天惩罚她的孩子所以她与于连一刀两断，到最后还举报了于连。她把她的爱看成是一种罪孽。至于玛特尔小姐，她很嚣张跋扈，与其说她喜欢于连，倒不如说她喜欢的是叛逆的感觉。她和于连在一起，只是因为她没见过于连这样的人，于连一开始对她是没有太大好感的，所以玛特尔是有一种征服心的，她想要占有于连，借此彰显自己的不同，同时她也渴望被征服。她的表现欲太重了。同时也很叛逆。所以，当于连表达出对她的爱意时，她迅速褪去了新鲜感，征服欲，她觉得没有挑战性。这个女生太可怕了虽然很聪明美丽，但是，她不真诚。红与黑里的人都是复杂的，我不能说他们是绝对的好人或坏人，只是感到他们的生长环境塑造出了他们这样的性格。他们的发展是意外的，但是也是合理的。因为他们的性格确实就是这样的。所以，看完后，我只是感受到了复杂，还有合情合理。伦理，道德，爱情，神学，宗教，军事，权利，自由，看似矛盾的大家相互碰撞交织，竟也可以这般的不可思议又合情合理。所以呀，人果然是很复杂的呢。

被血色掩盖的信仰与荣光
当王权再度更迭――路易十六被送上断头台，拿破仑的事业在厄尔巴岛终结，王朝复辟――时代掀起的波澜造就了一个于连。他渴望穿上红色的军装，追随拿破仑的脚步成就一番战功，却迫于局势而不得已将野心掩藏在黑色的教服下。理想与现实间的强烈反差，暗示了他的末路。当铡刀落下，傲慢也好，自卑也罢，都会随着尘埃落定，掩盖在血色之中。只有那颗头颅上空洞的瞳孔，仍痴痴凝望着他所有虚假的信仰与虚幻的荣光。
傲慢＆自卑
纵观于连短暂的一生，能轻易提炼出两个词：傲慢和自卑。乍看这两种特质似乎相互矛盾，但究其根本，它们都生自比较心。过人的天资使他不屑同庸俗的贵族相交，坚信以自己的才华应当攀上更高的地位；低劣的出身又使他处处小心翼翼，时刻恐他人的耻笑与嘲难。傲慢与自卑的交织在他心中，滋生出近乎扭曲的恶意与甚于悲悯的崇高，构成了名为“于连”的悲剧角色。
于连的傲慢表现得直白而富有攻击性。在人生最初的转折点，被瑞那市长雇为家庭教师，他心中有忐忑不安、但更多的却是对于这份职业的轻慢，同瑞那夫人的亲密关系更为他的就职提供了借口。而在进入巴黎后，“拉穆尔侯爵的秘书”一职使他不得不出席众多贵族参加的晚宴，于连看不上他们浅薄的思想与虚伪的做派而不愿和这些“空有出身别无长处”的家伙交好，更别提谄媚。即使是面对真正的贵族千金、拥有过人美貌与出众智慧的玛娣儿特，他也冷眼相待，甚至会在对方惊扰他思索时出言讽刺，这份极具攻击性的傲慢与孤高固然是于连的人格魅力之一，却也是致命的弱点。它令他相信他能够成为鸷鹰，翱翔长空，完成每一次有力的搏击；它也令他以一种超脱的眼光观察人的行为，用上帝视角审视人在那般时代下的挣扎。
与傲慢相对的，是于连刻在心里的自卑。为了前途，他必须混迹于贵族大公间。而他呢？他只是一个穷木匠的儿子，始终摆脱不开索雷尔这个贱姓。出于对自己低贱出身的厌恶，当瑞那夫人朴实的心和玛娣儿特高傲的心迸生出纯挚的爱意并倾注于他时，只要她们的言语不注意，显出了不大尊重的意味，他便觉得极冒犯，从而对他们――贵族阶级的造物――报以较她们所作所为过分百倍的恶意。他不惮用最坏的想象去揣测那些贵族，并表现出不可一世的样子，唯恐教他们看不起。因无法改变的底层出身而带来的无从抹去的自卑犹如蛇一般，一寸寸蚕食掉他纯粹的心。它迫使他不断为跻身英雄之列奋进，又迫使他对感受到的一切好意抱以不信任的态度。真实与虚构之间的界限被肆意歪曲，隔绝开于连与周围的世界。
从未消逝的于连
时代的悲剧
故事的最后，于连以一名年轻少校的身份，站在法庭上激情演说。他凭借过目不忘的记忆力成为一名优秀的教士，继而被接连委以重任，又因玛娣儿特的倾心被授与十字勋章、食邑和少校称号，可以说，命运在这期间从未亏待过这个拥有坚定信念、或者说远大目标的年轻人。只可惜，于连的命运似乎在第一天成为家庭教师的那个早晨就已注定：破旧的报纸上报道的那个死刑犯有同于连相似的姓氏，鲜红的圣餐布倒映在水中宛如沉寂的血。种种不详的征兆预示着他的结局――死亡，既在意料之外，也在意料之中。意料之外在于，那样一个优秀、拥有光明前途的年轻人仿佛不该早早被黑暗掐住咽喉，任由贵族和资产阶级落下无理由的寒芒，再在蜚语中随意涂抹事实；可一颗傲慢又自卑的心注定于连不会在强权面前低下头颅，与世俗相悖离的结果就是为世俗所不容，那么他的死亡也就在意料之中了，于连死于他的傲慢、他的自卑，死于贵族和资产阶级的迫害，死于那个**的时代。
“在拿破仑的部队中，我会成为一名军曹；在巴黎的教会中，我会是一名主教。”于连对自己的未来做出这样的评价，是因为当时法国变化的局势只给了平民两种选择：屈服，或是革命。于连想成为足以改变历史的人物，有伟大的抱负。为了达成目的，他强迫自己做一个拥有虔诚信仰的教士，得到了他向往中的、尽管是短暂的荣光。在时代的浪潮下，于连的悲剧显得无比渺小。每个个人都是时代长河中的一滴水、一粒沙，受时代的裹挟前进、翻涌，最终被时代吞噬。于连那虚假的信仰和虚幻的荣光在这条长河中微不足道，最终只能留下一点浅薄的、转瞬即逝的血色。
这是时代的悲剧。
而当时代的悲剧具象到个人，于是人们记住了于连。
最近参加了一个同读活动，读了这本久负盛名的名著。
说实话，自己本身倒也是个喜欢读书的人，只可惜近几年啃的砖头少了，简单的书多了，所以理解和语言能力都有所下降。这次选择的这个版本，就碰到了此类问题，译者是个大家，法文，文言文功底都很深，所以翻成了带一点文言腔调的小说，文采风流，辞藻斐然。
可是随着时间的推移，现代口语的方式不断变化，导致了一种奇怪的感觉，就是现在的我读起来，并不顺畅，每个字都认识，放在一起读，就不知道是什么意思了，没有办法把语句具象到脑海中，导致阅读起来囫囵吞枣，不求甚解，连写文章也是，要么就是1,2,3点的工科类报告文章，要么就是这种口语化的流水账，一个有序的，结构化的文章都没有办法写出来，这也是工作久了，久不动笔的后遗症，反哺过来，就导致了阅读能力的下降，非常可惜。
伴读的大家就很厉害，可以带领我们进入了另一个层次的阅读方式，并不是读完这本书就这么读完了，而是关注于故事存在的社会背景，以及书中简单的描述所带出来的当时的社会风貌。如果在阅读之前，没有这些准备的话，很容易就读过去了，还是要先泛读了解一下，再去搜索相关资料，再精读一下，才能把一本书横着读，竖着读，给读透。
《红与黑》这部书的大体发生时间，在法国大革命之后，拿破仑失败了，波旁王朝复辟，但原有的社会结构摇摇欲坠，作为统治阶层的贵族、军队和宗教，不再保有绝对的权威，世袭的铁板出现了缝隙，给了底层的草根人民上升的空间，这才给了于连这样的人物施展的舞台。
于连是铁匠的儿子，父亲和哥哥都大字不识一个，并且脾气极度暴躁，动辄打骂，而于连本身却聪明过人，记忆力极佳，办事牢靠细心，长相俊美。相当于一个业务能力非常强的人，却没有一个很好的出身，再加上于连的自尊心极强，导致后续他极度拧巴的性格，自卑与自傲的混合体，既没有一条路走到红，也没有一条路走到黑。
红在这里面大概率是表示革命的意思，也就是于连心心念念的拿破仑时光，他总觉得自己生错了时代，如果早生二十年，就可以为了革命奉献，要么死亡，要么成为将军，可以实现阶级的逆袭，开创属于自己的时代。
黑在里面表示宗教的意思，神父总是穿着一身黑袍，这也是现实社会中，于连最有可能晋升，实现阶级突破的方式，只是于连自己本身，对此毫无兴趣，他学习拉丁文，背诵整本圣经，都只是为了升迁，并非发自内心的热爱。
于是，这样的于连成为了一个昂贵的摆设，作为家庭教师进入了市长家，也因此遇见了纠缠一生的德瑞那夫人。德瑞那夫人很可怜，作为一个贵族出身的女子，一直被当作花瓶养大，没有受过什么教育，是虔诚的宗教信徒，长大后就嫁给了市长，一个自大无知粗暴的男人。在遇到于连之后，德瑞那夫人才初次尝到了爱与被爱的情感滋味。
两人之间的纠葛非常精彩，试探与反试探，进攻与反进攻，这个时候的于连也不是此中高手，所做的一切都是发自内心而非套路，所以内心纠结不定，忐忑不安，不知道结果会怎样，付出的真心能否得到回报，两个人完全就是沉浸于爱情中的模样。如果一直如此，倒也罢了，可惜德瑞那夫人作为虔诚的信徒，认为是自己如此的所作所为导致了孩子的疾病，故而毅然决然的斩断情丝，与于连分开，并且送他去宗教学院上学。
至此，于连进入了上升通途的另一个阶段。然而，宗教学院并不总是纯洁，所有压抑人性的地方一定会有争斗，于连就是一个牺牲品，牵扯进了高层之间的争斗，如果不是后来遇到提拔他的贵人，只怕会沦落为炮灰的命运。总体而言，于连的能力让他十分出众，而自傲与自卑的情况，让他无法舍却脸皮，一门心思钻营往上爬，也不愿与其他人同流合污，在这样的社会当中，单纯的靠自己，是无法达到向上的结果的。所以，司汤达安排了贵人相助，将于连放到伯爵大人的身边做秘书，于连出众的能力另伯爵刮目相看，甚至要安排他到军队历练，并且给予贵族的头衔。
本来按着这条路，于连可以走的'一帆风顺，只要舍弃了自己的自尊与自傲，没有影响到贵族的利益，是可以实现阶层的逆袭。可惜，出色的皮相与能力，让他吸引到了玛蒂尔达小姐，玛蒂尔达小姐是一只骄傲的金丝雀，看不上身边的任何人，总是嫌弃他们的无聊，却被于连的特殊吸引了，并且想得到于连作为自己魅力的证明。于是两人之间相互勾引，你进我退，进了又厌恶，退了又不甘心，此时的于连已然进阶，虽然还没到得心应手的地步，但是对于玛蒂尔达小姐的心理把握地更为准确，进退自如，最终算是攻陷了玛蒂尔达小姐。恰恰也正是因此而触动了伯爵的利益，伯爵本希望女儿嫁给另外一名贵族，获得一个更高的头衔，现在却被于连破坏了，而此时，恰恰收到了一封检举揭发于连勾引妇女道德败坏的信。
这封信，来自于虔诚的德瑞那夫人，因孩子的病情，不得不根据神父的口述，写下了这封可以让于连身败名裂的忏悔信，这里面就可以看出，宗教学院的影响还没有结束，站在不同边的神父们，相互攻讦，抓住一切可以用的机会，栽赃诬陷对方，于连恰恰又是倒在了这里。伯爵大怒，要求于连拿着金钱远走海外，隐姓埋名，这对于一心想要出人头地的于连来说，是一件比死还痛苦的事，于是，反正也是死，于连选择了同归于尽，他回去刺杀德瑞那夫人，虽然没有成功，却依旧被关进了牢房。玛蒂尔达小姐为此一直在奔走，却中了圈套，神父之间的站队问题，导致当权派选择打压于连，最终，于连还是上了断头台，为此付出了生命的代价。
于连，成也皮囊，败也皮囊，一个脆弱的苍白的表面安静内心火热的绝世妖孽，碰上了就逃不过。
