三勇士中的第二位勇士古冶子见状，抢着站起来说：“打虎不算什么，我当年在黄河的惊涛骇浪中杀过一头大龟，救了国王的命，这功劳可不比公孙捷小。”国王听了，觉得他说得很对，于是把剩下的桃赐给了第二位勇士。
这时，三勇士中的最后一位田开强坐不住了。他牢骚满腹，讲述了自己领兵攻打敌国，俘虏敌人五百多人，为国家强大立下了赫赫战功。然后问国王，他的功劳够不够大。国王无奈，安慰他说：“你的功劳确实很大，可是你说得太迟，桃子已经没有了，下次再赏赐你。”
田开强听不下去，觉得自己为国征战反倒受了冷落，而且在众目睽睽下受到侮辱，气愤之间，当场拔剑自刎而死。第一位勇士公孙捷见状，也拔出剑来说：“我功劳小而受到赏赐，田将军功高而没有得到赏赐，这确实不合情理。”说话之间，顺手一剑也自杀身亡。这时，剩下的勇士古冶子跳出来说：“我们三人曾经发誓同生死，今天他们二位已死，我怎么能独自活着呢?”说完，也自杀了。

带着这些问题，我们赶往许昌县小召乡北寨村，来到李会山的家中，拜访这个在当地小有名气的“土专家”。
经过几分钟短暂的等待，李会山从自家田地里赶回到了家中。今年53岁的他看上去很精神。古铜色的面容、洪亮的声音、炯炯有神的双眼，都印证着这是一个精明能干的“能人”。
话匣子打开了，李会山开始讲述自己的故事。
矢志不渝谋创业
翻开李会山的经历，可以说是厚厚的一本书，记录着他并不波澜壮阔但也丰富多彩的人生。
1973年，18岁的李会山中学毕业后，回到家乡北寨村当了一名实物保管员，负责保管村里的物资、器械等。在当时的计划经济时代，这也算是一个很重要的岗位了。在恪尽职守干好本职工作之余，李会山对机械维修和制造产生了浓厚兴趣。而实物保管员的职位也给他琢磨机械维修和制造提供了有利条件。
闲暇之余，李会山都会到仓库里，对着一大堆各式各样的劳动工具仔细研究半天。他不仅把这些工具一件件擦拭得十分明亮，还经常对其进行检查维修，有时还要对不合理的地方进行改良。甚至必要时，他还会把工具拆得七零八碎，仔细研究它们的工作原理，然后再重新组装起来，熟悉制作工艺流程。久而久之，人们发现，被他捣鼓过的工具变得更精巧实用，用着也更得心应手。而这一切都为他后来的人生经历打下了良好的基础。
虽然说实物保管员给了自己很多学习机会，但在那个物质匮乏的年代，李会山清醒地认识到，依靠自己当保管员的收入，远远不能养活一家老小。于是，李会山开始了自己的“兼职”生涯——做小生意。李会山就此算是开始了自己的创业路。
最开始，李会山卖过农用工具，收过榆树皮，当过粮食经纪人。但这些都是小打小闹，勉强养家糊口。
邓小平巴黎开豆腐店 为了给旅欧共青团提供活动经费，在周恩来的倡议下，由邓小平负责主持，在巴黎开办了一间“中华豆腐店”。大家各自分工，有的捡豆子，有的泡豆子，其余的轮流摇磨，大家边干边说边笑，劳动局面十分欢快。周恩来还吟起古人的豆腐诗:“旋轮磨上流琼液。”邓小平则和起下句来:“煮月铛中滚雪花。”大家听了都拍手叫好。
邓小平热情好客，很有组织能力，这间具有东方风味的豆腐店很快吸引了法国人。豆腐店闻名巴黎，大有供不应求之势，于是用定时供应、售完为止的办法限制销售。这样，旅欧共青团活动经费问题得到较好解决。
针对当时在欧洲工作的大量华工，旅欧共青团的“华工运动委员会”还积极从事华工工作，瓦解华工中原有的行会帮派，建立“华工总会”，组织工人俱乐部，开办工人夜校，提高了工人的思想觉悟，促进了知识分子和工人群众的结合，并且培养了一些工人运动的骨干。
青年团在欧洲的革命活动，也使广大团员和进步青年得到了锻炼。从1923年起，为适应国内革命的需要，大批旅欧青年团员赴苏联学习，以后回到国内，投入大革命运动的洪流。1924年7月，周恩来奉党之召，离开法国，直接由海路归国。此后旅欧党团在李富春、李卓然、傅钟、邓小平等相继领导下，又有很大发展。
年6月中旬，为声援国内五卅运动，在中共旅欧支部和共青团旅欧区执委会的倡导下，与反帝国主义的各团体联合，成立了旅法援助上海反帝国主义运动行动委员会。同年6月14日，中国共产党旅欧支部执行委员会和中国共产主义青年团旅欧区执行委员会发出“告示威华人”书，号召反对屠杀上海人民的帝国主义国家。6月21日，中共旅法支部和共青团支部联合国民党左派，发动了一次向中华民国驻法公使馆示威的行动，参加者200余人，他们迫令公使致电全国人民支持反帝运动，并通牒法国政府从华撤军。
年初，大批旅欧党团员已赴苏联学习或归国参加革命斗争，留在西欧的少数党团员，分别加入了所在国的党团组织，继续为支援国内革命努力工作。至此，原来那种独立的旅欧中国共产主义组织活动，已不复存在，旅欧中国共产主义青年团的光辉历程宣告结束。
