英文电话面试的作用和问题类似于谈判之前的交流。不同公司会采用不同的方式，一般电话面试过程用时在10-30 分钟之间。包括：自我介绍、常规问题询问。基本就是根据简历对求职者的基本能力和经历进行了解，以判断其是否具备招聘职位所需要的相关能力，并以此决定是否给予下一轮面试的机会。企业电话面试的过程一般分为以下7 个步骤。
(1)确认已审阅简历并明确面试问题。
(2)确认求职者身份与自我介绍。
(3)介绍公司与职位基本情况。
(4)确认求职者最近两次工作岗位，以及最近工作转换的原因。
(5)关键职能与素质考察(主要涉及关键岗位职责与成就，了解求职者在团队中的位置和作用，个人强项与待提升的方面等)。
(6)了解求职者目前的薪酬水平、期望薪酬与底线等。
(7)预留出时间让应聘者提问。
由于模式限制，电话面试时间虽然不会很长。但要注意在面试时，一定要表现出自信、礼貌、认真和严谨。建议求职者在投递简历以后要做好各种充分的准备。
