Ours is called Liujiawan Village. It is an out-of-the-ways① place because it is far away from other villages. There are 1, 835 people in it.
In the past it was very poor. There was no factory, no school, no hospital, and even no trees. The people lived a hard life.
Now great changes have taken place here. There Line② rows of new houses and green trees on the either side of the streets. We have set up four factories, a hospital, and one school from where 50 students came out and entered into the universities. The life of the villagers is getting better and better.

他们不是运动员，大多是二三十岁的大学教职工，也有四五十岁的教授，更有十几岁的少年学生。他们往往纵情地抢着篮球，大声叫喊，尽情奔跑，跳跃，敏捷得似是一匹匹野马，又像是灵猿。汗水浸湿的衣服与头发和着尘土，常常贴在身上，像粘了浆糊似的。但这些都不重要，重要的是运动的过程和篮球永恒的魅力。即便打累了在场边休息，做拉拉队也情绪高涨，快乐得如同孩子，眼睛随场上的篮球而进退，益发神采。于是，快乐和幸福，就这样在一阵阵的“啪！啪！——咚！咚！”之声中演绎着。

那时风景独好
我站在教室向江那面窗前，看着微风拂水轻扬，荡漾耀眼的光斑。轻舟走水，细浪淘沙。想起那时的我，面临着微波粼粼的静水。从远处飘来是渔人的歌，忘不了的是湖塘那风景，那荷。
匆匆忙忙来到学校。只知道学校坐落在湖塘边，却不知湖塘有荷花。直到分完宿舍，舍友拉我到阳台指着远处水面上漂浮的白花：看，这就是我学校的特点，荷塘。我只是在电视看过那倩影，从未亲眼看过芙蓉。
不满足那远处的遥望，渴望早点放假能近点瞧瞧那妩媚。那点心思被舍友看出：可远观不可近玩焉。别看池塘很浅，有很多淤泥一陷下去，就起不来了。想了想：我只是在岸边看看而已。塘里白花，在心里留下一个淡淡的影拖长日子。
放学的铃声，伴随着放假传出阵阵欢快的谈笑声。我也飞快跑到荷塘边。碧绿圆宽的荷叶，水珠滴溜溜沾在叶子上。荷梗上出了只娇媚不失气质的朵儿。轻轻摇曳，带着风微抖身姿。淘气小孩们打水漂，打乱景致。刚想训斥，忽见水溅花冠，愈显可爱。喂，格，车要开了。下周有的是时间看。
夏日酷热，因近水，风吹来徐徐清凉。体育课下，汗流浃背，流溢汗味。忽闻微风徐徐，淡淡香气，不似谁谁香水，是植物。才记得，正处夏日，荷开正旺。不似处子幽香，胜似。少了香奈儿的浓郁，多了精神。

冬日过，寒冻了荷的生命。湖塘布满的荷少了三之二。原以为荷之将去，而叹息。卢德笑道：如果这荷，有那么弱的命。就不会存到现在了。
原来几年前，水葫芦疯长，占据了几乎整个湖塘。昔日荷花朵朵花开那时却是水葫芦那紫粉的小花。清理后荷又长起来了。听到这片荷塘有这般历程，我已不再感慨，只有期盼。果真，冬日一过，残枯败叶间长出嫩率的小圆蒲。
荷伴三年苦读，如今不知经年。望窗前滔滔北去的南渡江（海南第一大河，从五指山经过海口流入北海）。何时才能重归旧地，看荷。那时风景独好。
月亮是妈妈的枕头
拗不过一个老师朋友的再三请求，我这个“知名作家”只好临时客串，给她的学生们上了一堂作文课。为了激发孩子的想象力，我做了三张卡片，上面分别写着：落叶、微风和弯月，我想让孩子们用尽可能多的词汇来比喻它们。卡片在孩子们手中快乐地传递着，仿佛在传递一个快乐的消息。他们浮想联翩，各种各样的比喻层出不穷，卡片上密密麻麻地写满了孩子们天真的想象。
我拿着那充满童稚的'卡片，一张张读下去，“落叶是秋天的信笺”，“落叶是冬天的请柬”，“微风是我在夏日午睡时，外婆手中轻轻摇动的扇子。”“弯月是被嘴馋的天狗咬了一大口的月饼”，每每读到这些精彩的句子时，我都会让写下这个句子的那个孩子站起来，顺便夸赞他们几句，满足一下孩子们小小的虚荣心。孩子们活跃极了，对那些写出了精彩句子的同学给予长时间的掌声。这堂作文课既生动又活泼，比我预想中的效果要好。在旁边听课的朋友也偷偷为我竖起拇指，对这堂作文课很满意。读到最后，我的眼睛一亮，被一个更为新颖的比喻吸引了：“弯月是妈妈的枕头”。虽然新颖，但我认为这个比喻句不大贴切，为什么单单是妈妈呢？我这样问的时候，那个叫陈露的小女孩站起来，涨红了脸说，“妈妈累的时候可以枕着它好好睡上一觉。”我说，“不如改作‘弯月是上帝的枕头’，因为上帝在天上，离那个枕头更近些，呵呵。”我和她开着玩笑。她没表示赞同也没表示反对，依旧涨红着脸，好像是要为自己辩解，却欲言又止。我便借题发挥，让同学们来评断这两个句子，()哪一个比喻得更贴切一些。同学们立时乱作一团，叽叽喳喳地开始评判，或许是孩子们慑于老师的权威，最后一致认定“上帝的枕头”更为贴切。
“那枕头是妈妈的。”这是我听到陈露声若蚊蝇的唯一的一句辩驳，在孩子们的喧嚣里，显得有些纤弱无力。
下课后，朋友对我说：“陈露的那个比喻句是有根据的，因为她的妈妈就在天上。从她一出生下来，她的妈妈就去世了。”我无比惊讶，“那你为什么不早点提醒我？”我埋怨着朋友。
“可是陈露不想让同学们知道她是一个没有妈妈的孩子。”朋友说，“上学第一天她就偷偷和我拉钩，让我为她保守秘密。现在，还整天和同学们炫耀自己的妈妈是世界上最漂亮的妈妈呢。”
我懊悔不已。我犯了一个多么大的错误啊！“弯弯的月亮是妈妈的枕头”，回头重新想想，这个比喻句是多么贴切！妈妈在天堂里，不是正好可以枕着那轮弯月吗？那枕头是妈妈的。我的耳边一直回荡着她为自己辩驳的话。这里面裹着一颗多么执着的爱着妈妈的心啊。我仿佛看见，她正捧着妈妈的照片，委屈地掉着眼泪。她想给妈妈一个温暖的枕头，却被我无情的夺走了。我给孩子那颗固执又柔软的心，泼了冷水，造成了怎样的伤害。
“明天让我再给孩子们上一节作文课吧。”这一次，变成了我对朋友的请求，“我要给孩子们好好讲讲月亮，这个枕头本就该是妈妈的，上帝，请先靠边站。”
