But they are lack of self-control and self-confidence in English study. After several years’ study, they have mastered the basic English knowledge and skills. But in this class, it is a little difficult for them to use the model verb correctly and talk about different traditions of different counties in English.

According to the new standard curriculum and the syllabus, after studying the teaching material and analyzing the rule of children’s growing of mind, I set the following aims.

Knowledge aims: Students can understand and master the meanings of the new words and can use the modal verb correctly.

Ability aims: Through role-play and group work, student can improve their ability of working in group and ability of communication.

Emotional aims: Students can get more interests in different cultures and learning English.

Then, let me talk something about the key point and difficult point.

the key point of this lesson is to make sure students can master the key words such as chopsticks, later, immediately and use the model word “must” “can” correctly.

While the difficult point is to make sure ss use the model word correctly and help students be confident to speak English in class.

Now, let me talk about teaching methods and study methods. I will mainly use task-based teaching method. In my class, Various tasks will be used for the students to help them master the new words and the sentence structure. Besides, I will use Total Situational teaching method and Communicative Approach.

For students, Experiences—Practice—Feedback” is the best way for students to learn.so,in this class, I’ll create more opportunities for my students to practice and show the target languages step by step.

Next, I'll describe the most important parts of my teaching design—the teaching procedure,which is made up of five steps:warming-up,pre-listening,while-listening,post-listening,summary and homework.

Step 1 Lead-in

Firstly, I will sing a song named far away from home with my students together ,and i will do like this And then I will ask ss some questions to lead in our topic.

Students in junior high school are fond of song, the purpose of this design is to arouse ss’ interests and through some questions to naturally lead in our topic In China, we open a gift later.

Step 2 Pre-listening

With the help of the PPT, I’m going to present the pictures about these new words such as chopsticks dictionary and read words together several times and compare words later and immediately. After learning each new word, I will lead ss to do card game, make sure every ss has a word card when I say a word, students who has this word card should stand up to say “I’ am here” and read the new word with correct pronunciation.

And then listen the radio and finish the activity 1and 2, according to activity1and 2, set up a situation for the dialogue. Ask them a question and let them listen the radio with question.

The purpose of this is to clean the word and arouse the whole Ss’ interests of learning English words and prepare for next step.

Step 3 While-listening:

Listen to the passage and play the recorder for three times.

1st time:

Get students to give out the main idea of the passage. and let them answer the questions I ask before .

2nd time:

let students to answer some questions in activity 3and 4 . And i will praise students who got the right answer and encourage students who may have problem in understanding the passage

3rd time:

Let students check their answers and exchange their answers with their partners, and correct the errors. if necessary, I will explain to them.

And then let students to find out the important sentences and explain for them you mustn’t break anything. You must use red paper for hongbao. And then do “high and low voice” game, one group speak one sentence loudly next group speak another sentence quietly.

Purpose: Enable students to understand the given material better by answering the questions. And proper cooperation can arouse the students’ interest in English learning. “Task-based” teaching method is used here to develop the students’ ability of listening and also their ability of co-operation will be well trained.

Step 4 Post-listening:

Let ss Role play the conversation, 4 people as a group, each one has his role. I will give them 5 minutes to practice and prepare. And then ask some groups to come to the stage to act before the whole class. Whether they do it good or not, I will applaud for them. And then stress out the key vocabulary and sentence structure. Ask students to pay attention to those key points.

This step can help students to understand the whole passage deeply and apply some key words and sentences at the same time.

Step 5 Summary and Discussion

Ask students to summary what we have learned today. And let’s review the knowledge together.

I design this to enable students to practice and remember the new words and important sentences again.

Step6: Homework

I will encourage my students to write a letter to introduce Chinese tradition to their foreign friends or share it with their classmates.

英语新课程标准指出,基础教育阶段英语课程的总体目标是培养学生的综合语言运用能力。《新课标》倡导任务型教学模式,即让学生在教学活动中参与和完成真实的教学任务,从中体验学习的快乐。因此我在教学中设置情境,让学生在有趣,开放式的语言环境中,学会观察,思考,讨论和总结,在“用”中发展思维能力、创新意识和各种语言应用能力。

二、说教材。

本课将重点学习五个动词短语和句型What are you doing? I am... 以及如何用简单的语言打电话。通过这节课,学生将提高用英语进行交流的能力。因此,根据学生已有的认知基础及本课在单元之中的地位及作用,依据小学英语教学的总体目标,确立本课的教学目标为:

Then,Begin the class by showing some pictures of serious questions.

Second, ask the students to follow me to read these new words. Then here I will take five mins to play two games with the Ss.

The first one is Choo-choo train game. That is ask students reads the new words in orders one by one. Each student just read one word.

During this game, I will pay attention to the Ss’ pronunciation and find out which word they can not pronounce it well.

The second game is about figure game. I will read the words which the Ss can not pronounce well from last game. I read one time, then show my figures to Ss. They need watch my fingue, I show them how many fingures, they need to read the word which I read how many times. But, if I put my hands behind my back, then Ss should close their month immediately.

Then thirdly, ask the Ss read all the new words together.

Fourth, load to the new sentence structures

Fifth, take a few mins to ask Ss to make sentences with a few important new words and key sentence structures.

Last, listen to the tape and repeat.

The purpose of this step is help Ss to master the new words and key sentence structures more easily and quickly.

After this is Step3. Practice.

Activities will help Ss to recognize and read the new words and sentences, Due to the Ss’ age, I make a role-paly game to make Ss use the new words with sentence structure and make a conversationwith their partners.

Then ask a few group to show their conversation to their classmates.

The purpose of this step is: making the Ss get the general idea of the new words and key sentences as a whole one. At the same time let the Ss have a chance to practice their listening and spoken ability.

Next is step 4. Summary.

For this step, I will ask several students to make a summary of this lesson

first, and then I will give them my summary.

Purpose of this designing. Cultivate students ability of independent thinking.

Goood moring, Im glad to interpret my lesson here . The lesson plan I am going to talk about is Part A lets learn of unitX PEP Primary English bookX. I will explain how to teach and the reason for doing this from following aspects.

Now Let’s focus on the analysis of teaching content. It can be divided into 3 parts as followed: the status and the function, the teaching objectives , the main points and difficult points, I’ll talk about it one by one.

This lesson is the first lesson of unit 1, book7 . It includes two parts: Let’s learn and let’s play. In section 1, it mainly deals with these key phrases: on foot, by bike, by bus, by train, by subway. And in section 2, it provides a game for the Ss to prastise the patterns: How do you go to…? And the answer: I go… by../ on foot.

Our students have already known some vehicles in the daily life. It’s not difficult for them to understand and use these words . If students can learn it well, it will help students to learn the rest of this unit. So, I set the following aims:

The first is language objectives

To make sure that students can read, recognize and use these key phrases :on foot ,by bike,by bus,by train skillfully.

The next is ability objectives

(1) To develop Ss’ abilities of listening and speaking.

(2) To train the Ss’ ability of working in groups.

Moral objectives

(1)to help students know some vehicles and comprehend the traffic rules

(2) To foster Ss’ consciousness of good co-operation and proper competition.

The main points and difficult points about this lesson is:

(1) To make sure that Ss can use these key phrases correctly and skillfully.

(2) To enable Ss to study in groups and co-operate skillfully.

(3) To develop Ss’ interest in English.

Difficult points:

To help the Ss ask and answer the question “How do you go to…?

2. ways of teaching and learning

As we all know: the main instructional aims of learning English in primary school is to cultivate pupils’ basic abilities of listening and speaking and their good sense of the English language. So in this lesson I’ll mainly use “Task-based” teaching method. That is to say, I will let the Ss learn in real situations, finish a task by making a survey”How do you go to school?” to help Ss to get a better understanding of the key phrases. I will arrange these activities: guessing game, finishing a survey and having a competition. And in this lesson a recorder, CAI, will be needed.

3. teaching procedures

I’ll finish this lesson in five steps.

step1. lead--in

I will begin my class with “drawing and guessing” game, just like this : I show students some vehicles such as bike, bus ,jeep which they learned before by “Stick Figures” and ask them guess what’s it.

Purpose: It is important to form a better English learning surrounding for the Ss by guessing game. And at the same time it provides situations to review learned knowledge for the next step.

step2. prestentation

Now I’ll mainly talk about this step.

【1】First, there is a Free talk between T and Ss. For example: I show many pictures of beautiful cities and ask students some questions, such as “do you like this city?where do you want to go ?”and help Ss to answer them with “by train ,by plane,by ship”.

By the way, I show the picture of a school, and say“ I go to schiool by bus” ,Ss read this sentence. do the actions and ask “how do you go to school?”,show many pictures of tools such as ,on foot by bike ,by bus to help students answer my question one by one.

To present the key structures one by one is much easier for the Ss to learn and grasp the meanings.

【2】With the help of the CAI I set a situation to help Ss understand the way of using these key phrases:

A boy is coming, who is going to school. He says: I go to school by…Then play the sounds of bus, bike ask students to listen carefully and tell “I go to school by…“ according to the different sounds, by the way , I present another new phrases:by subway

Purpose:Make Ss use these new phrases with sentence structures, to help Ss use the language in a real situation.

step3. practise

【3】I order to make every student read these new phrases correctly, I design a ”drill “in this step, I show cards as soon as possible ,students should read the words quickly and spell them. Then I ask How do you go to school?students answer ”I go to ......“also I will quicken the speed to ask .

The purpose is to draw the whole studentsattention to the spelling of the words

【4】After this, I ask Ss to do ”Lets play “ in fours. They use places cards and vehicle cards, ask and answer:How do you go to …? I go to … by…”

【5】If Ss can ask and answer expertly, I will ask them to make a short dialogue.

The purpose of this is to help students to learn those sentenses through a ture situation and make the dialogues in order to check if Ss can usse these key prases、sentences structures skillfully

Let students do a survey about ”how do you go to school?“and the table like this :write down names and tools another Ss choose

Task-based teaching method is used here to develop Ss’ ability of communication and also their ability of co-operation will be well trained.

Ask students to collect other kinds of transport tools through the library ,computer.

The purpose of this is to stimulate the interest of learning english and to wide the studentsknowledge

1.辅导班的选择

2.说课准备

首先是说课稿,我从说课稿什么结构都不知道,到总结出适合自己的说课稿,这期间是一把辛酸泪。我的说课稿经过了不下二十次的修改,才最终定型,定型之后,还又修改了一两次,到考场上,我又加了一个小环节。所以,在备考的时候,一定要多写说课稿,多修改,直到找到合适自己的,我是一个厚厚的大本子写了半本。说说历程

(1)首先反复听课,把教案学了两遍,先对框架有了大体的了解,学了结构和过渡句。但是我说课时间只有八分钟,很多过渡和套话都没有用上,删掉或者精简了。

(2)然后,我把教材里面的真题全部都整理了一遍,比如把里面觉得好的过渡词句、好的活动设计,好的用语之类的,分门别类的整理出来,在初期写说课稿时,比如我写到warming up的时候,我就会去翻看,都可以怎样设计,怎样表达,怎样说。这一遍下来,看了几十篇说课稿,首先是在头脑中形成了印象,知道了说课稿大体是什么样子,有了概念。其次是自己整理了一个工具档案,可以随时翻阅,帮助我前期写说课稿,可以写的多样化,而且像分析学情啊之类的都是套路,找一个万能的背过就好了。

(3)找老师不断修改,整理出了自己的说课稿,在说课稿定型的时候,最好是能有一个比较通用的模板,在导入环节之类的,准备一两个通用的模式,像我的说课稿来说,都是用的情境导入,通过提问学生问题来导入,这样在考试时,我只需要设计出导入的问题就好了。

(4)要反复训练,自己的说课稿,我的稿子定型以后,我一直在训练自己,随便打开一课,用6-8min要设计出这节课写好教案马上开始讲。后来在考试时证明我这个方法还是比较对的,虽然我们有30min备课时间,我在家最多8min就可以把这节课设计好,照这个时间算下来,我可以有20min左右的时间在脑海中背这节课。其实到了考试时,不是这样的,因为紧张,激动,被打扰,思前想后,我在备课室准备那节课写教案和框架用了整整15min。所以在训练时,尽量要让自己快,熟,毕竟考场那种心情你是无法模拟的,你还是要留出足够多的时间和方案给意外状况。

3.练习阶段

练习面试最重要的是重复重复的练习,我感觉我的变化是三个阶段,从不能脱稿到背过,从背过到背熟,从背熟到讲出来。只有反复的练习,才能感受到这个“讲出来”是什么意思,在刚开始的时候,脑子里都在想下句话是什么,是无法加入自己的情感去展示自己的课的。我是全英说课,但是不妨碍给周围的人讲,给我能遇到的所有人讲,我家人,我朋友,前几年上岸的考生,数学老师,小区公园里,甚至在路上给一起走的阿姨讲……他们都听不懂我讲什么,但是,他们给我指出的毛病却不少。给不同的人反复讲,最起码可以练你的胆子,他们听不懂但可以看出你的状态,你的考官在快听吐了的时候,可能也根本听不到你在讲什么。但是你神采奕奕讲课和背稿子,怯生生还是自信满满,他们都能看出来的。讲的越多,在考试时的怯场会越少。建议把自己的课录下来或者录音,自己能看出来的毛病也是不少。我把我的课都发给了老师,从开始到最后成型,随着她的点评,经历了不小的变化。练到最后,我可以随便揪出一课来,情感饱满的给人讲,(是讲不是背)直到所有的人都说出来,这个状态去没问题了。对了,最好是能去找个学校,在周末没人的时候,站在讲台上实际模拟一下,站在讲台上的感觉是不一样的,我是属于站讲台上反而是会比较放松的人,比站在别的地方舒服。而且写板书和在自己家小黑板上写是不一样的,要练板书。

4.心态调整

考试前说放平心态的那都是扯淡,我前一天晚上一晚上都没睡着,睡不着的时候建议看书。考试当天记得带一本书去,除了教材之外,我们的等候室,手机是收上去的,书不收,如果不幸抽到后面,就像我,小学英语被安排在最后说,干瞪眼犯困三个多小时,心里还蹦蹦跳紧张,是个特别不好的体验。

最紧张的是你前面几个人被叫走备课的时候,马上要到的时候,心脏跳得简直是要晕过去,这时候,可以学习一下瑜伽中的腹式呼吸,能调整到一个不那么难受的状态。进了备课室,手抖呼吸困难都是很正常的,你紧张到什么样都不要觉得完了完了,没有人不紧张,快速写完草稿,多准备几遍,心里有底就不会很紧张了。在进入考场时,全程记得面带微笑,不要丧脸,全程跟老师眼神交流,带动他们的情绪,反正就这么几分钟,谁都不认识谁,“不要脸”的去演就行了,前期训练的时候已经很熟练了,小毛病都改了,能差到哪里去,对不对?而且他们很可能是看着你在愣神,装作很认真的听但是啥也听不出来,只听你的语音语调,所以,请尽情展示你的表演。

再就是我在备考过程中遇到的小疑问,想起来几个。

(1)有的老师强调,这个说课稿各个流程之间的先后顺序,比如先分析学情,再分析教学目标重难点,一定要这样吗?

在我的备考中,我首先学的模式是说教材里包含教学目标重难点,我也习惯了这个顺序,后来有老师跟我说这样不对,但是,是考前一周的时候在练课时跟我说的,我觉得有一定道理,有点赞同,就根据这个模式改后练了几次,但我感觉很别扭,因为我已经形成了流程模式,会出现断篇卡壳的情况,我自己分析,在面试时,就英语来说,考官可能听不清你的顺序有什么毛病,但是卡壳的毛病他听的清清楚楚而且一定会扣分。所以,我在这一部分就没有做修改,还是按照自己原来的模式。所以,在这些很细节很套路的地方,考官一般不会多认真的听,不必要太过纠结。

(2)在小学设计过程中,我需要多活泼?怎样把握试讲和说课的那个度?

我以前认为,说课就是一板一眼的说,把各个流程说清楚,讲明白,但是,后来我发现,真的不是这样的,小学的设计,即使是说课,我也需要声情并茂,加入游戏和表演的成分。我在我的说课里,加了唱歌,加了chant,加了拍手读单词。考前听说,我们这里另外区县的一位老师,说课时候唱了三首歌,拿到了96分。在这里,不是想说唱歌越多越好,而是想说,一定要用活泼,有感染力方式展现自己的课。每个人都去背稿子,考官听了一遍又一遍,换做是你会不会烦?尤其是我们英语,想死的心都会有。那么这时,突然出现一位考生,唱歌做游戏,让他感觉很有意思,让他放松一下心情,他会不会给高分?我是准备了一首万能的英文歌,很熟悉唱的时候一位女考官都有小声跟我唱的意思,我也微笑和她示意。能调动起考官的情绪,就是一种能力,他自然会认为,你的感染力会在以后的教课中发挥作用。

(3)板书设计

板书我没有花很多的时间去设计,能画点简笔画当然是好,最后我没有用,一是因为我的时间不是太允许,二是一位当过很多次评委的跟我说,板书还是认真写字比较重要,很复杂的也没有太大的必要,就把简笔画和复杂的板书设计放弃了。我当时设计的两个卡通动物当成男生组合女生组的标志,他说这个不现实,单纯为了展示简笔画而展示,就不太有必要了,所以我就设计了别的分组方式。板书还有一点小经验,是那位老评委跟我说,比如你要把重点单词写上,时间关系没有必要都写,可以写几个展示你的字,然后点点点,说and so on就行了。还有一个小经验,千万别忘了写题号,字要认真写还有一个小经验,在设计说课稿时,一定要设计上回头写板书的节点,我前期就是说课稿不知道哪里回头写板书。

(4)服装

在教师考试中,据我观察,穿白衬衣黑裙子的在75%左右,但现在已经越来越多的人不穿这样了,我认识的那位老教师也和我说,出去看一天的白衬衣,会看吐,即使怕犯错,选不出衣服穿了白衬衣,也不要选那种一看就是西服店的工装,要选的有点设计感。我选的是蓝色雪纺上衣,黑色工装裙,其实衣服的影响真的不是很大,和我一个岗位的穿了碎花连衣裙,最后也拿到了87分。对了,一定要选带点小跟的高跟鞋,不要太高也不要平底,我没穿高跟,是因为太高站在讲台上会有压迫感,但是带3cm左右的小跟,会特别精神。不要穿七八厘米的高跟,不稳重也不方便。

It’s very pretty.”教师接过话题,引出本节课的主要句型“How much is this dress?”教师放慢速度,让学生模仿,并引导学生根据价格标签作出回答:It’s…yuan教师不时用“Oh, that’s expensive.”或“It’s too expensive”进行评价。让学生在一问一答中,在模仿中,熟悉本课语言的运用。这一环节充分调动学生的积极性,吸引全体学生的注意力。

(2) 以巩固为窗口,拓展知识

教师放录音前提出要求:仔细听后,回答How many apples does Jack want ?放完第一遍后,让学生打开书跟录音读一遍,同时检查自己的答案是否正确。并拓展到How many ------ do you want ?用身边的东西进行练习。

3、变生活为课堂,自主学习

二。说教法与学法

1.愉快教学法

为了能充分得调动学生得求知欲和好奇心,创设良好得英语环境,同时紧扣see这一主题。我通过放大镜看镜下飞机导入课堂,随后设计了聚光灯、拉幕、连线等形式使原本枯燥得单词句型操练变得充满生机。教学中我用心关注每一位学生,用自己得眼神、手势、言语与学生进行交流,用恰当得语言激励学生。创设一种亲和得语言教学环境,充分调动学生得主动性。

2.情景教学法

直观形象,富有吸引力得感性材料,容易激发学生得兴趣,开启思维得门扉。我在教授单词和句型时,运用电子白板给学生提供了与生活中相贴切得情景,让学生进行真实语境下得交际对话,让学生在声、文、图、象得新情境中去学习巩固,从而提高课堂得教学效率。

3.交际法

整个课堂上得对话要注重语言得交际性,灵活运用语言。通过电子白板所提供得情境,让学生进行真实得对话,达到真实交际。提高学生得英语交际能力。

三。说教学过程

本课我通过复习导入、新课呈现、巩固操练、拓展延伸、教学反馈以及课后作业五个步骤进行设计。教育家托尔斯泰说过:“成功得教学所必须得不是强制,而是激发学生得兴趣,兴趣是推动学生学习得强大动力,是学生参与教学活动得基础,激发学生得兴趣是新课导入得关键。”“Well begun, half done”良好得开端是成功得一半。

复习导入分两块:

① Free talking:先是和学生进行每天都要操练得基本得问候语得问答练习,在此基础上运用What’s this?句型复习第一和第二单元学习得英语单词,同时运用图片复习学过得交通工具bike, bus, car和taxi.

② 听一听,唱一唱本单元C部分得英语歌曲“Row,row, row your boat.”这一首优美得英文歌,全班同学在教师得带领下,边边唱边表演,营造良好得英语氛围,使学生能自然地进入到一个良好得学习状态中。

新课呈现分两部分:

① 在前面唱歌曲得基础上,利用电子白板得放大镜功能,让学生上台看一看,教师顺势问学生What can you see? 让学生通过观察,学习新单词boat,这样,既紧扣了上一环节唱得歌曲,又紧紧围绕“看”这一主题,对于第二个新单词plane,我运用了电子白板得聚光灯功能,让学生看看,紧紧围绕see这一主题,同时让学生保持新鲜感。为了围绕看这一主题,同时吸引孩子得注意力,在引出第三个新单词时,我运用了电子白板得拉幕功能,拉出吉普车得尾部,让学生猜一猜是什么交通工具。在教室前面三个单词时,教师反复问,同时学生反复听What can you see?句型,为接下来得句型教学打好基础。

② 创设相应得情景。前面涉及得都是单词得教学,句型只是让学生反复听,有最直观得印象。在教第四个新单词时,我为学生创设了相应得情景,警察叔叔问小朋友:“What can you see?”小朋友通过放大镜找一找,回答:“I can see a train.”这样,既引出了新单词train得教学, 又让学生在情景中学习本节课得句型“What can you see?” 及其回答“I can see a …”

巩固操练分四部分:

① 读一读,利用电子白板,让学生跟着电脑读一读单词,要求学生模仿正确得语音语调

② 做一做,低年级学生集中注意力得时间比较短,如何让学生在有效得教学时间内把注意力集中在教师身上是教师始终要考虑得问题。为此,我利用电子白板得钢笔设计了让学生上台把单词和图片匹配得练习,发挥学生得积极性。

③ 练一练,前面都是针对单词进行得练习,接下就是操练句型。利用电子白板得容器功能,让学生来点一点,练一练。

④ 演一演,让学生同桌之间自主选择想说得一个单词,让上台自己操作电脑,在电子白板上点击自己要说得图片,并把它表演出来。

拓展延伸分两部分:

1.在电子白板上出示铅笔盒得图片,问学生在铅笔盒里看见了什么。然后过渡到在课桌上看见了什么。

2.拓展到现实生活中,让学生观察一下我们得教室,问学生在教室里你能看见什么?学生用“I can see …”回答问题。

教学反馈部分:

利用电子白板,让学生做一做听录音,排序号得题目,及时反馈所学内容,让其中一个同学利用电子白板得钢笔功能上台做,其他学生在下面独立完成,做好教师当场批阅,反馈。

布置课后作业部分:

让学生课后与同学把生活中所看到得事物用所学句型练一练。

四、教学总结

这节课不论是新知识得呈现,还是单词和句型得操练形式,都能紧紧地抓住学生,吸引学生,让学生积极参与到课堂中来。学生在玩中学,学中用,提高了课堂实效,培养了学生学习得兴趣。我相信通过这样得教学,充分让学生主体参与、情景体验、游戏巩固,是一定能圆满实现课堂教学任务得。

According to the New Curriculum Standard, I will begin interpreting my teaching design from the several parts such as analysis of the teaching material, teaching difficult and important keys , teaching procedure and so on.

Ⅰ. Analysis of the teaching material

Firstly, please allow me to talk about the analysis of the teaching material. This lesson is chosen from PEP English book of junior high school, the first semester of grade8, Unit 10. The main grammar of this unit is simply future tense “if ”Conditional Sentence. After students finished this lesson, they could understand the usages of “if” Conditional Sentence, judge in the case of hypothesis, predict the outcome of things.

Ⅱ. Analysis of the students

Students in the Eighth grade have study English more than a year, according to the teaching requirements,students observe some objects and phenomena, and can steadily learn the targeted content over a long period of time. In general learning activities, the focus of the observation time has a tendency to extend along with the rise of grade. As improving the abilities of accuracy observation and generality, they can catch the main characteristics of things to analysis comprehensively and profoundly, and proper judgment, inductive and deductive.

Ⅲ. Analysis of the teaching aims

The new education pointed out, Students are the main body of the classroom. So I set following aims:

Knowledge aim:

1) Master the new word: upset, taxi, advice

2) grasp “if ”Conditional Sentences

3) know the function of “if…will…” for predicting the result of the things

Ability aim:

Use “if ” Conditional Sentences to improve abilities of listening, speaking, writing for communication

Emotional aim:

Now let’s come to the first part--the analysis of teaching material. The class is from second A of Unit 2 Junior School Grade 7, which is published by PEP . The main topic is about the professions in our daily life. It’s the listening and speaking lesson. It is very common, so it will be very useful and helpful for students.

II. The analysis of students

Next is the second part--the analysis of students. The students are in this period have learnt some basic English skills such as listening and speaking, but not very well. In addition, they are full of curiosity and very active . So I will give them lots of opportunities to practice in the class.

III. The analysis of teaching aims

The third part is the analysis of teaching aims. According to the syllabus and the analysis of material and students, I want to explain my teaching aims from three aspects:

Knowledge aims: students should master the new words such as doctor, scientists and so on. And the sentence “What professions do you like?”

Ability aims: students can use the new words and sentence to communicate with others. Their listening and speaking skills can be improved.

Emotional aims: After this class, students will understand all kinds of professions and have their own dreams.

IV. The analysis of teaching key point and difficult point

It comes to the fourth part-- key point and difficult point. The key points are to use the new words and the sentences. The difficult point for students is how to use these words and sentences to communicate with others in their life appropriately.

V. The analysis of teaching methods

And the next part is analysis of teaching methods and studying methods. I will adopt communicative Approach and task-based teaching method. As for studying method, autonomous learning method and cooperative learning method are mainly used. In this way, students will be the host of the class.

VI. The analysis of teaching aids

To help students learn better, I will mainly adopt pictures and tape recorder as teaching aids.

VII. The analysis of teaching Procedure

After the above analysis, I want to explain the main part in my teaching design, the analysis of teaching procedures. I will talk about it from the following parts: warming-up, pre-listening, while-listening, post-listening, summary and homework.

The first step is warming-up. I will let students chant with me to review the words about colors. ‘Green, green, yellow, yellow, blue, blue, white white’ It can arouse students’ interest in this lesson. It’s good for me to start the next stage.

The second step is pre-listening. I will play a song for students called “What you wanna be?”, which can students relaxed because it is a pop song. Meanwhile, I will ask students “what is our lesson about? Can you guess?” Then it comes to our topic today “professions”.

After warming-up, let’s move to the next step while-listening. In this step, I will let students listen to the tape for two times. The first time, I will ask students to get the main idea of this conversation. For the second time, Students should finish the exercise 1. For example, “what professions do you like?” “I like doctor. ” In this way, students can know how to talk about professions in daily excommunication

Next, it’s the fourth step, post-listening. In this process, there are some practice activities. I will encourage students to work in pairs to make a new conversation in 3 minutes. Then I will call some representatives to show. Then another activities. I will guide students to discuss in group of four and make a new performance according to the knowledge we have learned and invite some students to act it out in five minutes. This activity can guide students to master the new knowledge much easier and more deeply. In the whole lesson, I will encourage students to open their mouth to improve confidence in speaking English.

The last step is summary and homework. I will sum up the knowledge we have learned together with students. About the homework, I will make students search on line to collect other professions and share them next class. It will help students horizon their sight and develop the habit of learning English.

VIII. The analysis of blackboard design

Finally, my blackboard design is the last part. I will write the new words and phrases on the left. And key patterns are the right, which can help students to master the knowledge better. For students, it’s very clear.
