I wanna welcome everybody here in this cheer team. thank you for coming here this morning to stand on my side cheering me on. it’s my dream to have the opportunity to challenge all the foreign athletes to the championship at this great occasion: 20xx olympic games. now, the dream came true. as an athlete of china, i’m here to win the gold medal of orienteering for our motherland.
I’m so proud of being one of the best players in the world. but could you believe i had been a lazy girl when i was in junior high. i’m not kidding! at that time, running was my last favorite. i really don’t know how to describe the first time i was on the track. it was horrible. when i started to run, i was simply out of breath. and while i touched the finishing line, i really didn’t know if i was still alive. it’s so funny, huh? but it’s true, i did.
Well, something happened and changed the situation. we won the right of holding the olympic games in 20xx. after that, sports became a kind of game in campus. and there are many sports clubs in school. one day someone asked me:“are you gonna try one of those?”first i felt so wired.
“Try to get into sports clubs? are you kidding?” i said. and she goes: “why not? it’s not hard at all, and so fascinating!” so i did tried one and i was so lucky to become one of those who did orienteering. that is a fantastic sport! you need to run and find where to go just by using a map and a compass. it’s wasn’t popular in china at first. but when we heard it might become a new event in 20xx, we did practiced hard, and aimed to win the first champion of orienteering in the world. when we practiced, there were a lot of troubles. you know, sometimes you need to go with your feet, but sometimes you need to go with your heart. in some situations, we faced the difficulties and problems. and we need to solve that through teamwork and strong willpower. so we can run faster, go higher and be stronger. that is what we say―olympic spirit.

i think my dad was a hero for me when i was a young child. we'd go fishing, walks, and other fun things for a kid.
every child has a good and great father, and so do i. my dad played a very important role in my daily life`````exactly speaking, in my past 16 years.
my father always stands in the center of my life， from past till now and possibly in the future.
my family was rather poor when i was in my childhood. we didn't have our own house and had to live in a shabby， small room rented from my father's factory. the room was so small that there was little space for people to walk. i didn't have my own bed and had to sleep with my parents. this is terrible both for my parents and me.
but father made this all different!he works very hard on his own business, now we have our own 2 housese,surly,i have my own room.and he take our family so much happiness, richer and richer.
when i was little, i did everything with my dad. you could always find me sitting on his knee or walking and doing everything with him. every night he would read me a bed time story and make the voices of each character.

转眼间，时光飞逝，到了三年级。学校举行了一次关于书香的主题升旗仪式，校长交给我们三一班主持，在一次升旗仪式上，一位六年级同学正在演讲，声情并茂，让人不由得陶醉其中，老师走过来，轻声问我：“如果是你，可以超过他吗?”“当然可以!”我想都没想，脱口而出。老师轻轻一笑，这次的主持人自然由我来担当。正值酷暑，每天晚上放学都要在学校练习，怎样上场，下场，演讲稿反复背诵，太阳火辣辣的，把我烤的头晕脑胀，简直想扔下稿子，扬长而去，可想放弃时，脑海中总是浮现出董卿的样子，是呀，没有风雨，怎能见彩虹呢?便继续刻苦练习，终于赢得了领导老师们的好评。
经过多次努力，我的水平又迅速提升，我高兴及了，可我不能骄傲，因为我深知，一点成就并不算什么，我离自己的主持梦依旧还很遥远。
如今六年级，新一轮的演讲比赛即将开始。仰望天穹，我看到了自己的梦想在闪烁。踏着新的旅途，我毅然参加了比赛，奔向彩虹，奔向我的梦想!
Honorable judges, distinguished guests, ladies and gentlemen:
It is a great honor and pleasure to be here on this beautiful and wonderful Sunday evening to share with you my sentiments about life and passion about my homeland.
As we known, our ancestors have made great miracles on this fertile land, and we are still making miracles. Who can ignore the facts, that we have established ourselves as a great nation in the world, that we have devised our own nuclear weapons, that we have successfully sent our satellite into space, that our GNP ranks NO. 7 in the world, that the 29th Olympic games will be held in 20______? It is true that we have experienced plunders by other nations, we have experienced wars. But based on such ruins, there still stand our nation China, unyielding and unconquerable.
An American tourist said:“ China has a long history of 5,000 years, but the US just has a history of 200 years. 5,000 years ago, China took the first lead in the world, but now it is the US that is leading. ”My heart was deeply touched by these words. Yes it is true that we are still a developing nation, but it does not mean we can despise ourselves. We have such a long standing history, we have such abundant resources, we have such intelligent and diligent people, we have enough to be proud of. I think we have enough reasons to say proudly: we are sure to take the first lead in the world in the future again, for the problem is big, but our ambition is even bigger; our challenge is great, but our will is even greater.
About personality, especially the youth, I think it is not a time of life, it is a state of mind. It is not a matter of rosy cheeks, red lips and supple knee, it is a matter of will, a quality of imagination, a vigor of emotions. Youth means a temperamental predominance of the courage. At the same time, I remember an old Chinese proverb: one minute does farm work, one minute harvest. I think we should make good use of everyday, so that we can achieve great success and our country will gain the prosperity.
Everyone here, let us find the confidence to conquer our limitation and embrace the new challenges. Let us contribute our efforts and create a glorious future for our homeland.
Once upon a time there was a hare who, boasting how he could run faster than anyone else, was forever teasing tortoise for its slowness. Then one day, the irate tortoise answered back: “Who do you think you are? There's no denying you're swift, but even you can be beaten!” The hare squealed with laughter.
“Beaten in a race? By whom? Not you, surely! I bet there's nobody in the world that can win against me, I'm so speedy. Now, why don't you try?”
Annoyed by such bragging, the tortoise accepted the challenge. A course was planned, and the next day at dawn they stood at the starting line. The hare yawned sleepily as the meek tortoise trudged slowly off. When the hare saw how painfully slow his rival was, he decided, half asleep on his feet, to have a quick nap. “Take your time!” he said. “I'll have forty winks and catch up with you in a minute.”
The hare woke with a start from a fitful sleep and gazed round, looking for the tortoise. But the creature was only a short distance away, having barely covered a third of the course. Breathing a sigh of relief, the hare decided he might as well have breakfast too, and off he went to munch some cabbages he had noticed in a nearby field. But the heavy meal and the hot sun made his eyelids droop. With a careless glance at the tortoise, now halfway along the course, he decided to have another snooze before flashing past the winning post. And smiling at the thought of the look on the tortoise's face when it saw the hare speed by, he fell fast asleep and was soon snoring happily. The sun started to sink, below the horizon, and the tortoise, who had been plodding towards the winning post since morning, was scarcely a yard from the finish. At that very point, the hare woke with a jolt. He could see the tortoise a speck in the distance and away he dashed. He leapt and bounded at a great rate, his tongue lolling, and gasping for breath. Just a little more and he'd be first at the finish. But the hare's last leap was just too late, for the tortoise had beaten him to the winning post. Poor hare! Tired and in disgrace, he slumped down beside the tortoise who was silently smiling at him.
“Slowly does it every time!” he said.

今天我演讲的题目是《文明从我做起》。
记得有位哲学家说过：如果你失去了今天，你不算失败，因为明天会再来。如果你失去了金钱，你不算失败，因为人生的价值不在钱袋。如果你失去了文明，你是彻彻底底的失败，因为你已经失去了做人的真谛。
文明是人类进步的标志，是人类历史长河中的一盏明灯。古往今来，人们时时刻刻把文明礼仪牢记在心。如“孔融让梨”的故事我们早就听说过了，孔融小小年纪就懂得把大梨让给长辈吃，自己吃小的。又如在公交车上给妇女、老人让座的`人越来越多，抢占“残疾人专座”，“孕妇儿童专座”的人越来越少;闯红灯的汽车少见了，只有静静等待绿灯的车辆;践踏草坪的人消失了，只有给花草浇水的人们……文明是一种品质，文明是一种修养，文明是一种受人尊敬并被大家广泛推崇的行为。
养成良好文明习惯必须从我们自身做起，从身边的点滴小事做起，比如：在公共场所不大声吵闹、不乱丢垃圾;按秩序做事;在校园里，微笑面对老师和同学，热情主动地打招呼问好;平时热心真诚地帮助有困难的人;行走在大街上时，能自觉遵守交通法规，与文明和安全同行……
同学们，文明礼仪是我们学习、生活的根基，是我们健康成长的臂膀。没有了文明，就没有了基本的道德底线。我们要把文明礼仪放在一个重要位置上，时时刻刻与文明交谈，用它来约束自己的言行，做一个文明的好少年好儿童，共同把我们的家园建设得更加美好!
