At the beginning, I’d like to ask you a question. Has your hometown’s environment been polluted, if it has, raise your hands please? (Thank you) Let me give you an impression of my hometown. That is a small village of Yunnan province. There are many mountains, forests and rivers. If you go there, I promise you will be amazed by its beautiful landscape. Because you just can touch the nature with your fingers and feelings. You can enjoy the blue sky, flying birds, waterfall, amazing sunset and many other sceneries. When I was a teenager, I often climbed these mountains and jumped into clear and clean river for a swim with my peers. However, after my graduation from high school, I came to Beijing for college. I found something different. Because when I raised my head, the sky’s color was not blue, but yellow. When I looked down, dirty and poisonous rivers are full of unrecyclable rubbish and giving out unpleasant smells. When I looked forward, so many people wore their mouth masks. Everyone here complains weather and environment. It seems so inharmonious between man and nature. Why?
As we know, in the past few centuries, human have made countless remarkable achievements in science and technology to explore the mysterious world better. Conquering nature with powerful tools, people have achieved material prosperity. Meanwhile, environment has been badly damaged. So a series of severe problems come along, such as species extinction, energy crisis, incurable diseases, the three main pollutions etc. All of these factors bring our beautiful planet disasters, humanity as well. Let me show you some statistics. According to the report from World Wide Fund for Nature, the species of entire world have declined by 52 % since 1970. That means about 75 kinds of precious species disappear forever from the Earth each day. In addition, scientists claimed that human now need one and a half Earth to meet the demand for natural resources. Another frightening data from the UN in , there are almost 8.4 million people around the world who die of cancers caused by environmental issues every year. It is so horrible, isn’t it? Man has taken too much from nature, also paid such a heavy price for it. If we don’t try to change these situations, what will happen one or two centuries later?
But, fortunately, the majority throughout the world are aware of the significance of environmental protection. Much many individuals, environmentalists and organizations have taken actions spontaneously. Companies donate part of their profits to support some green projects. Moreover, Government has carried out many policies to conserve endangered species, support green industries and encourage people to live a green life. From a global perspective, though it is a long journey to make the Earth recovered and to live in harmony with it, I do believe that, with everyone’s efforts, we will finally get there.
Ladies and gentlemen. For ourselves, for our children, and for all human beings, by the end of my speech, I do hope you can keep the following words in mind ---- The nature’s prosperity is humanity’s prosperity. Do you adjust your TV screen a bit dimmer to save energy? Do you re-use water for different activities around the house? 这次过年我并不是在诸暨过年，而是在海南过年。到了海南，我依然要包饺子。因为以前过年包的饺子不是露了馅，就是包得跟汤圆差不多，而且还穿着补丁的衣裳。就是因为以前包饺子没成功，所以这次我还要包饺子，而且还一定要成功。不过靠我自己是永远不会成功的，所以我打算要拜师学艺。
“可拜谁为师呢?对了!老爸不是有一个朋友会包饺子吗?而且这位阿姨也对我说过她是包饺子老手”。想到这，我就以闪电般的速度跑到了楼上，对那位阿姨说：“阿姨，你能教我包饺子吗?”阿姨和蔼地说：“可以啊!”我听了，赶紧问：“这里有做饺子的材料吗?”阿姨说：“当然有喽!”于是，阿姨马上拿来了做饺子的材料。我见了，便问：“那我们现在可以做了吗?”她说：“可以做了。”
我和阿姨做好面皮和肉馅后就开始包饺子了。我迫不及待地拿来一张面皮，照着阿姨的样子，把面皮放在手心中，又把一大勺肉馅放在面皮的中间，两手一挤，只觉得黏糊糊的，一看，原来是我用力过猛，肉馅从面皮里探出头来，好像在对我说：“里面太闷了，还是到外面来透透气吧!”于是，我赶紧把露馅的地方补起来，可谁知这边刚补好，那边的馅又露了，没办法，我只好把那边再补起来。可那边刚补好，这边的馅又从细缝里露出来了!它们好像跟我做对似的。我干脆不包了!可我看了看阿姨包了这么多，我心里觉得不甘心，就又包了几只饺子。我把我包的和阿姨包的做了比较：阿姨包的个个昂首挺胸，跟打了胜仗的大将军一样，威风极了。可我包的一个个都没精打采，穿着补丁的衣服，还没开始打仗，就先投降了。我跟阿姨的手艺相比，真是相差十万八千里哪!于是我对阿姨说：“教教我到底怎样才能把饺子包好啊?”阿姨回答说：“肉馅不要放太多，收拢面皮时不要有缝隙，而且也不要用力过猛。”我听阿姨说完后，自己又认真地包了一个，果然比刚才包得好多了!我高兴地一蹦三尺高。然后又对阿姨说：“不愧是包饺子老手啊!”阿姨谦虚地说道：“包饺子人人都会，不止我一个人会啊!”
包铰子不仅让我感受到了成功的喜悦，还让我明白了一个道理，就是不懂就要问!这个道理在学习上时刻提醒我，遇到不懂的问题就要向老师、同学请教!
说来惭愧，在武汉生活十余载，对武汉的了解少之又少。如果要我说几句武汉话，可能想半天也只能憋出一句半句，可要我介绍武汉的美食，我自认为能出口成章，滔滔不绝。作为一个吃货，能生活在武汉这样一个汇集全中国众多美食的大城市中，是非常幸运的。下面，来介绍一下我眼中的武汉，舌尖上的武汉。
早上7点钟，伴随着摊边小贩的吆喝声，崭新的一天开始了。说到武汉的早餐，在各种各样的美食中，我最钟爱的还是武汉最有特色的早餐---热干面。说到热干面，我觉得用百吃不厌来形容一点也不为过。最初在小学时，几乎每天早上，我都要吃一碗热干面。现在住校了，但我隔三差五还是会去品尝一下过去美好的味道。在劲道的特制面条中，在香醇而味浓的芝麻酱中，在鲜香的自制卤水中，在味精、盐、酱油各种调味品完美的融合中，我能吃出这属于武汉的味道，这只属于武汉的味道。颇有筋道的面条，在各种调料加入后，充分拌匀，总能让自己回忆起小学无忧无虑的快乐时光。萝卜丁、葱花又为面增添了一种新的感受，辣椒油的加入又多了一种享受。轻松、愉快而美好的一天，在这回味无穷的一碗热干面中，开始了。
都说位于长江中游的武汉是鱼米之乡，我看这一点也没错。武汉人的中餐因此丰富多彩。中餐，最为丰盛的一餐，武汉人深知这一点。武昌鱼，武汉人的骄傲。“才饮长沙水，又食武昌鱼”，毛主席对武昌鱼的味道可是赞不绝口。正宗的武昌鱼，产于长江与汉江的交汇处。在那里，汇两江之精华，集天地之灵气，武昌鱼肉质鲜美，是不可多得的美味。它是鳊鱼的骄傲，更是武汉人的骄傲。排骨藕汤，武汉一绝。武汉人懂得如何让汤有鲜味，也懂得如何让鲜味恰到好处。多年的历史积淀注定让武汉这座城市，带一点那古老而厚重的味道。这里的藕汤也因此有了一种说不出的味道，一种武汉的味道。美味过后，迎接武汉人的是下午更加辛勤的工作。
夜终于来了，带着他一身黑色的大衣。武汉的夜宵同样也有自己的特色，值得一提。武汉汇聚了来自全国各地的人群，大致有两种人：第一种，性格里带着江南小镇的柔;第二种，骨子里有北方的直与刚。前者为武汉带来了堪称一绝的甜品，其中，我最喜欢的就是麻球。油炸的空心糯米球上再均匀地撒上一层芝麻，散发出沁人的芳香，吃完后还能在未添加一丝糖的糯米面中感受到甜甜的美味。后者多遵循四川、重庆、湖南菜系的准则，无辣不欢。多元化的汇聚，形成了麻辣烫。不清楚麻辣烫的起源，但我觉得，麻辣烫造就了武汉，造就了武汉人性格中热情、刚烈的那部分。后者逐渐成为了主流，武汉就有了今天，成为全球五大最具活力都市之一。
繁忙的一天就此翻过，明天可能又是繁忙而精彩的一天。夜幕中的武汉沉沉地睡去，准备迎接第二天精力充沛的武汉人。这就是我眼中的武汉，一座舌尖上的城市。它是独一无二的，也是我的最爱。
我王大厨今天又想给大家露一手了，今天做的这道菜是卷煎。
做卷煎的第一步是磕鸡蛋。
我先磕了六个大鸡蛋倒进碗里，然后拿出蛋清分离器把蛋黄和蛋清分离。被分离出来的蛋黄黄澄澄的看上去十分诱人。接下来开始调制肉馅，我把葱姜切末放进肉馅里，但是在倒酱油的环节出了纰漏，手一滑，酱油倒多了。我赶紧又倒出来一些，但是酱油很快地渗到肉馅里去了，肉馅被酱油染成了黑色。
我把搅拌好的蛋黄液放入电饼铛里煎成鸡蛋饼，然后把鸡蛋饼盛到案板上，把调制好的.肉馅均匀地铺在鸡蛋饼上，把饼一卷，放进蒸锅里蒸了起来。厨房里很快就开始烟雾缭绕，像仙境一般。差不多时间快到了，我关掉火，激动人心的时刻到了，王大厨的卷煎终于要隆重出炉了。
我小心翼翼地掀开锅盖，把卷煎盛出来。为了看上去美观一点，我还专门把边角切掉，切成一个正方形。
我得意洋洋地把卷煎端上餐桌，大家都让我先尝尝。尝尝就尝尝，本厨师全部亲力亲为，这有啥不敢吃的。于是我用筷子夹起一块放进嘴里，“呸!”妈呀，这也太咸了吧，酱油太多了，这一口下去呛得我直咳嗽，全家人都笑成了一团。
我可不能让他们看我的笑话。我故作镇定地拿起卷煎，一边吃一边说：“真好吃，真好吃，你们不吃可别后悔!”
其实只有我自己心里知道，这个品尝过程是多么的艰难而又辛苦，就像一盘“黑暗料理”灼伤了我的味蕾。
吃了没几口，我也演不下去了。这次惨痛的失败教训我是记牢了，以后做饭放调料一定要慎重再慎重的!
我的家乡位于濮阳北部的台前县，距离黄河大约十里地，一条清澈的金堤河向东流去，我的家就在金堤河脚下。
俗话说：“靠山吃山，靠海吃海。”附近的人们都常去河边钓鱼。姥爷每次都把钓的鱼带回家，交给姥姥来做鱼，姥姥最拿手的就是做糟鱼了。姥姥总是不厌其烦地把每一条鱼都处理干净，处理好了，然后再准备做鱼的材料：葱叶、花椒、茴、葱姜、蒜、盐、酱油、醋和辣椒。
姥姥先把炉子烧地旺旺的，放上锅，烧热油，麻利地把葱姜蒜丝放进锅里，随着一声“嗤啦”，一阵香气飘过来，我马上凑到锅边，一下子有了食欲。姥姥也没空理我，只顾快速地来回翻炒葱、花椒，又赶快倒进一些酱油，屋里的香味更浓了。姥姥加了些水，放上盐，烧开后，放上一层葱叶，然后把鱼放在葱叶上，然后再盖上葱叶，加些醋，姥姥说这样可以让鱼刺烂得快。有些动作老老实一气呵成的，忙完停下来，姥姥额头上已有汗珠。
姥姥每次做糟鱼几乎都在晚上进行，锅在炉子上坐一夜，等第二天醒来的时候，一锅糟鱼就做成了。鱼一条一条整齐地排放在锅里，我忍不住，捏上一条塞进嘴里，品尝着雨，与肉又松又软，刺也烂了，香中带些辣味。
也学是鱼的香味太浓了，邻居家比我大两岁的林林常在姥姥掀锅后不久，就凑摸着来我家了。姥姥给他也盛上半碗，很快他妈也来了，谁都抵挡不了这诱人的香味，林林妈变吃边对姥姥的手艺赞不绝口。我一口气能吃上多半碗，哇!真的是太美味了。可以说，糟鱼陪我留下了美好的吃的记忆。
现在，故乡的金堤河还在我脑海里闪着金光，糟鱼还散发着香味，姥姥的容颜却苍老了，我更加想念记忆中香香的糟鱼，想念着用糟鱼带给我关怀的姥姥。
如今，路桥的美食节正如火如荼地举行着。
放学的傍晚，天空还透着一丝光亮，我和妈妈大步流星地走向美食节。
到了美食节，那里可谓是人群的海洋。走到一家羊肉串店铺，那些摊主一边烤羊肉串，一边随着音乐舞动，另外一只手配合着摇动着扇子，像是一只五彩斑斓的蝴蝶在火中飞舞。人们欣赏着，沉醉在音乐和舞蹈中。继续往前走，是一家“印度飞饼”。只见一位师傅抽出一团面粉，放在铁板上，飞快地揉起来。接着，师傅熟练而轻快地甩起饼来，看得我们眼花缭乱。往大饼上撒一些馅料，然后上下左右折叠起来，放火上一烤，就完成了。
但是，在感受喜悦和美食的同时，我们是否想过美食节所存在的环境问题吗?
看着脚下的路，遍地都是竹签、泡沫盒、塑料碗。再看看游人，几乎个个都是吃完后就往地上随手一扔。还有就是餐桌上，都是人们吃完东西后的垃圾。
旁边有垃圾桶，我们为什么不扔，偏偏要扔在地上呢？我们手头有刚用过的泡沫盒、塑料碗还可以继续使用，为什么偏要再重新拿一个新的呢？我们自己有纸巾，为什么不在自己吃完后把餐桌清理一下以便接下来的人使用呢？难道我们的素质只有那么低吗？如果有其他地方的游客来参加，我们路桥的形象就这样被“毁灭”了吗？
下面有几组数据：平均每天3000人，每人使用5根竹签，7天共消耗105000根竹签，小小的数据，累计起来却是如此庞大，这也意味着有许多棵树会被砍去。人类的环保意识，难道只有这么低吗？
我想，只有环保的美食节才真正称地上是美食节。环保和美食不成比例，那么举办美食节才更有意义！
在今天下午4点时，我和妈妈在做一样美食——奥尔良鸡翅。你们知道奥尔良鸡翅是怎样做的吗?想知道的话就往下看吧!
4点整，妈妈就准时地将早上买回的鸡翅拿出来。奥尔良调味粉，鸡翅，味精……这些材料真丰富，我不可思议地看着我神奇的老妈!食材既然准备好了，那就开始做鸡翅吧。你们猜，调料是怎么做?嘿嘿，自己找吧，在下文呢!
妈妈叫我把味精、奥尔良调味粉等等拿出来，撒均匀。忽然，妈妈一伸手，把手放在碗中，慢慢地抓。我惊奇地看着妈妈，问：“为什么要用手抓这些食材呢?”妈妈笑了笑说：“这样这些调味才会更入味呀。”过了一会，妈妈好像看出了我的困惑说：“放心，妈妈洗干净手啦!”于是，我带着小担心看着调料的成型。成型后的调料是金黄的，像太阳一样，像夕阳似的。
调料完成!那么接下来就是烤鸡翅了!首先最主要的就是热油，不热油的话那烤鸡就成“碳鸡”了。油大概在热了几分钟后就可以开烤了!我把刚制好的调料倒进去，“嗞——嗞”，不知道为什么作文，我最喜欢这声音了!妈妈让我让开，自己放鸡翅，应该是不想让我烫到。
“哗——”的一声，鸡翅像滑滑梯一样溜了下去。“哗哗”声和“嗞嗞”声交错着，像在二重唱似的，时高时低，此起彼伏。而锅下的火也在舞动着，它伴着“音乐”欢快地跳着。我正夸张地想象时，却被妈妈的一喊给喊回来了。这时，刚刚还粉嫩嫩的鸡翅早已换下粉红的裙子，穿上了华丽的晚礼服。
鸡翅烤完，就是加装饰了，唉!我可是“美术大师”!这点小装饰怎么能难倒我?!于是我将稀缺的材料以另一种方式来改头换面见世界。于是一盘“华丽”的奥尔良鸡翅就OK!了!
当当当当!接下来是尝鸡翅时间!我小心翼翼地把一块鸡翅拿起来——唉?有些黑?这是怎么回事?哦，原来你个顽皮的鸡翅君把后背的焦了的地方藏起来了呀!不过没关系!我心满意足地吃干净了鸡翅，心里也还存留着一种甜丝丝的感觉!

波！波！波！波！波！波！终于，妈妈说：开动吃火锅了！食材要煮熟，一次不要吃太多，吃火锅啰！管它天气冷飕飕，吃了身心都快活！耶！最大的享受——吃火锅啰！
热干面是武汉特色美食，可以说是武汉的代表之一。
刚做好的热干面，颜色棕黄，带着水润的光泽，这颜色既不深沉暗淡，又不浅薄轻浮，恰恰好，十分诱人。冬天的早晨，热干面可是武汉人必不可少的过早选择。一碗碗热干面出锅，一缕缕热气氤氲飘散，似乎在向过往的人们招手。禁不住诱惑的人就这么被暖和的香气勾住鼻子，一步步牵到店里。
闻一闻，喷香的芝麻酱微微发甜，混合着鲜辣的红油味，简直沁人心脾。拿起筷子，夹起一大筷面条，哗哗吸进嘴里。光滑柔软的面条滑过嘴唇，溜进口腔，剩下的小半截也在空气中旋转舞动后，被滋溜一下吸进嘴巴。满满一口，劲道的面条与酱汁混合，再被红油点上一把火，唤醒冬天早晨僵冷倦怠的味蕾。
我和爸爸都很喜欢吃热干面，尤其喜欢家附近一个略显冷清的小店的热干面，那味道，十分地道。冬日清晨，爸爸总是用他那双温暖的大手牵着我，慢慢向小店走去。我紧紧抓住爸爸的大手，把自己的手包裹进去。不长的路一会儿就走完了，到了店里，老板面带微笑地迎接我们，“来啦!”一边打招呼，一边张罗起来。不用我们点餐，没一会儿，两碗热腾腾的热干面就端来了。
爸爸吃热干面喜欢加很多葱、辣椒油等调料，再用那双大手用力搅拌一会儿，每根面条就都裹上了浓厚的酱汁。一大口一大口，狼吞虎咽，没一会儿就吃完了。我呢，喜欢加上一份炸酱，那咸咸的味道正是我的最爱。一点点搅拌均匀后，才开始一口一口慢慢品味，不浪费一丁点儿。早早吃完的爸爸就优哉地等着我。

So many people underestimate the power and importance of a smile, that simple little facial expression characterized by an upward curving of the corners of the mouth.
A smile has many meanings: pleasure, friendliness, welcome, amusement, and many more; and it is part of a universal body language that doesn’t need any extra interpretation.
Plus a smile, with all its simplcity and beauty, can be a very important factor in many aspects of our lives:
You fall in love with a new country you visit because its people greet you with a welcoming smile everywhere you go; other countries you just don’t like even though they might have more history, nature, entertainment and whatnot because their people don’t seem so friendly or accepting.
You feel like buying from a certain store when the vendor welcomes you in with a smile, sometimes even if you wouldn’t intially have bought anything; and in other stores, even though they have exactly what you need or better, you decide to walk away because the vendor doesn’t look welcoming at all.
You want to give a waiter a good tip when he serves you with a smile, even if the food turns out not that good; on the other hand, sometimes you’ll have some of the best food ever, but you won’t feel like giving the waiter a tip, even if you do, because he was grumpy.
More and more examples from our everyday life show how much a simple smile can change everything.
Forever engraved in my mind will be the smiling faces of the people of Thailand, the friendly pizza delivery boy, the welcoming supermarket vendor, the nice cashier at the bank, …etc.
It is these smiles that keep me wanting to go back, and that keep us all wanting to go back; looking at it from another view, if we break it down using business sense, a smile is one of the most effective means to generate sales and develop customer loyalty.
